Pivotal Tracker 1 review: An activity tracker that costs less than dinner

Pivotal Living is taking a unique approach to the wearable market and is offering its activity tracker as part of a $12 yearly subscription plan.

The Pivotal Tracker 1 is incredibly affordable. It can track your daily activities, sleep and even your hydration level. There's a silent alarm for gentle wake ups and inactivity alerts to get you moving.

Sleep tracking isn't automatic, the band isn't waterproof and distance tracking isn't very accurate. There are some build-quality issues and Pivotal's app doesn't integrate with any third-party options.

While you won't find any advanced features in it, the affordability of the Pivotal Tracker 1 makes it a low risk tracker for newcomers interested in the wearable market.

Pivotal Tracker 1 review: Get active and make informed choices for just $12 a year

Pivotal Living has removed the cost barrier to helping improve your life through activity tracking. Matthew was impressed by the Pivotal Tracker 1 and thinks everyone should give it a try.

Long battery life ; Comfortable to wear for hours ; Good audio quality

Expensive

If you or someone you know has ever thought about checking out what daily activity tracking offers, then Pivotal Living makes it a no-brainer to purchase a Pivotal Tracker 1 and test it out. These devices give you some awareness of your activity, or...

Pivotal Tracker 1 Review

Pivotal Living's Tracker 1 is a solid activity tracker, accurately tracking steps, calories, distance and sleep, complete with a compellingly designed app. If you're deterred by the word "subscription,” think of it this way: As a member of Pivotal...

Clean, attractive app ; Comfortable design ; Inexpensive subscription model

Glitch causes device to reset randomly ; Cannot input exercises or diet ; Short battery life

For $12 a year, the Pivotal Tracker 1 and its companion app let you track your activity easily, but it suffers from bugs and short battery life.

not impressed

I am easy and all I wanted was to keep track of my steps everyday. I was one of the originals to join. It was hard to register etc. and their first app was not user friendly. Sometimes it would work and sometimes not. Eventually, it just stopped...

"THE WORSE product, I wont wear it even its FREE"

Bad quality product, this is my 4th one and it dies less than a week. I have to sync it every midnight.

Nothing good about it

Bad design, quality and I have to sync it every midnight otherwise all your activities are gone

"For $12, you get an inoperable piece of junk after a failed launch and customer service nightmares."

Details? Here's what I think: Lack of communication between management and the front lines creates a very toxic environment. Third (fourth?) generation band, and it's still not functional. I quit pursuing a refund and got a Jawbone UP - my static reset...

The idea behind the product.

The execution of false promises and deceptive business practices.

Solid product for $12

Reviews seem to be all over the place on this product, but I decided to purchase it anyway since most of the people complaining faced issues in 2014 and I think the company has fixed a lot of their launch issues. I like this product a lot (especially...
