Razer Nabu Watch

The Razer Nabu Watch is an aggressively styled smartwatch that tracks basic fitness stats and delivers push notifications, but it's uncomfortable and inaccurate.

Good battery life. Displays push notifications. Tracks basic fitness metrics.

Inaccurate calorie and sleep measurements. Uncomfortable. Unique styling not for everyone. Tiny OLED display. Weak backlight.

Conclusions The Razer Nabu Watch feels unfinished. Notifications work as advertised, but calorie and sleep tracking were inaccurate in testing. And whether you like the styling or not, the watch is very uncomfortable to wear. If you're interested in a...

Razer Nabu Watch – More watch than smart

Back at CES this year, Razer made a surprise announcement. Sure, the Core external GPU solution and the Stargazer webcam, I was shown something that had little to do with gaming at all. I'm talking, of course, about the Razer Nabu Watch.

Overall, I’m not a fan of the large, clunky style of the watch. While it has been designed to be rugged for gamers, I’m not sure that this is what gamers want or need. It’s big, bulky, and doesn’t do much more than your average fitness tracker. If...

Nabu Watch reviewed: Razer gets into smartwatches in a big way (literally)

The $150 smartwatch makes a statement with its design, but it's otherwise basic.

Secondary display makes it easy to read notifications without losing date and time information on main display. ; Remote-control function turns the main button into a music controller or a photo-taker for your smartphone. ; Battery lives for both the...

This watch is gigantic and definitely better suited for larger wrists. ; Pretty basic compared to other fitness trackers in its price range. ; Social media exchange gestures only work with Nabu devices, which are few and far between compared to many...

The Nabu Watch certainly isn't for everyone—it's polarizing from the minute you look at it, but Razer made it specifically for gamers. Its features are solid. It does a good job of tracking steps and sleep, the ticker screen makes it easy to see...

Razer Nabu Watch

Razer is a company known for selling high-quality gaming peripherals, and it has a successful track record in the field. Imagine my bewilderment then, when the company announced a smartwatch with zero gaming capability at CES 2016.

Despite a handful of redeeming qualities, the Razer Nabu Watch is an ill-conceived product that would require significant reworking before being sold to consumers.

Razer Nabu Watch: Here's that enormous digital watch with some 'smart functions'

The company that is "for gamers, by gamers" has made a smartwatch that it doesn't want you to call a smartwatch.

Razer Nabu Watch hands-on review

Find out why the Razer Nabu Watch has two batteries.

Cheaper than most rivals, the Razer Nabu Watch gives a chunky retro take on the smartwatch which will suit some users. Things are kept simple here with the split digital chronograph and second smart screen like the Martian Notifier and the price...

Razer Nabu Watch keeps on ticking, long after the smarts are gone (hands-on)

What's the difference? Well, his new Razer Nabu Watch is mostly the same sort of dumb wristwatch people used to wear all the time. It tells you the time, the day of the week, has stopwatches and alarms and so on.

Still, the Nabu Watch is pretty gigantic, pretty pricy -- especially the $200 Forged Edition -- and in my personal opinion pretty ugly for what it does. I doubt I'd buy one. Maybe you feel differently.
