Withings Go

The Withings Go has a fairly unique design, but you can get more functionality for less money in some competing fitness trackers.

Cool E Ink display. Long battery life. Easy to use. Waterproof.

Pricey for what you get. Failed to register some activity in testing. No backlight.

Conclusions I like the Withings Go. It's comfortable, has good battery life, and I find its E Ink display rather charming. But I can't shake the feeling that you should be getting more for the price, like the ability to permanently display time, set...

Withings Go, reviewed: E-ink in a fitness tracker, but not a great watch

With more watch faces, this could have been a winner.

Months-long battery life; always-on e-ink display; comes with band and clip accessories; easy to use and set up. Water resistant for swimming.

Chunky design and unattractive band; no extra watch faces or ways to see health data on the Go screen; can't be set to show the time as the always-on display.

Long battery life, water resistance and an always-on screen are the best features of the Withings Go, but for its price you can find better overall fitness trackers.

Withings Go review: back to basics, but for 80 bucks

There's something to be said about a return to simplicity in wearable tech. The category brims with possibilities, but in the current throw-it-all-at-the-wall climate, it's hard to know which wrist...

E Ink display ; Eight month battery life ; Dead simple

Expensive for what it is ; Toy-like aesthetic

Withings Go Review: Cheap and Simple Fitness Tracking

The $70 Withings Go is an interesting new entry into the budget fitness tracker market. Its standout feature is its E Ink display, which is bright and bold, and Withings' app integrates well with its other products, such as the Smart Body Analyzer .

Small, simple design ; Long battery life ; Waterproof

Can’t set display to always show the time ; A lot of competition at this price

The E Ink display on the inexpensive Withings Go lets you quickly see how close you are to meeting your day’s goals.

The Withings Go shows promise, but is mostly a non-starter

Drop the price $20 and add a bit more functionality and you've got a compelling product on your hands. The way things stand now though, the Withings Go is more of a curiosity than it is compelling — or, for that matter, tempting

Long battery life ; Water resistant ; Modular form factor

Limited display functionality ; Not cheap enough to truly be “budget” ; Limited data insight

The Go’s not a bad little fitness tracker, it’s just one that fails to live up to its promise. It’s not inexpensive enough to truly be budget and not fully featured enough to be too much of a compelling alternative to the myriad devices already...

Good and bad news: Withings Go is a tiny tracker you’ll forget you’re wearing

It could help you develop new healthy habits, but otherwise it's unremarkable.

Small design makes it lightweight, while e-ink display makes it easy to see time and activity progress. ; Water-resistant enough to track swimming exercises. ; Smartphone-based reminders help you build new health habits.

No vibration motor for one-wrist alarms. ; No exercise coaching capabilities.

Just like Withings' Activitè products, the Go delivers on all of its fitness tracking promises. It's a solid device at a competitive price point, and its e-ink display gives it an upper hand compared to other affordable trackers that are devoid of...

A Quick Look at the Withings Go Activity Tracker

As expected the early part of CES week saw a lot of new product announcements. There are lots of new players on the field with some innovative new products (and some obvious knock-offs and re-makes of existing technologies); but also as expected, many...

Withings Go

These days, tech companies appear to be hell bent on creating high-end, Swiss Army Knife devices that can do it all. This has been particularly apparent in the world of fitness trackers. Over the past 12 months, we've seen an influx of...

An affordable and reliable tracker that’s ideal for casual runners.
