Consumer review (newegg.com)

Purchased for my alienware 17r3 and just love this drive.

I would absolutley recommend this product to someone looking for a new m.2 ssd there is a 512gb version but 256gb for a boot drive and a few minor programs is enough for me got a 2nd drive for the apps and stuff.

Super fast i've only owned this since May 19th but I love it. Super fast once you get the bios set the right way which i dont even know how i did lol its been a while since ive owned a new pc let alone pc (mac user) but everything went smooth after....

1. The only real con i have is that it didnt come with a screw to secure it in the laptop which isnt really a con being that most purchase this to replace an existing drive i did not but was able to find the right screw. 2. Initial setup was a little...

Worked with my ASRock Extreme4, EVGA x99 micro2 mATX and ASRock x99e ITX/ac motherboards.

Fast Small Sexy No SATA data cables cluttering your face

Probably not worth the premium $$$ price honestly, more of a bragging rights and "because I could" purchase. Also, you might need to disable CSM in BIOS to get the drive to install Windows (through the USB and booting into UEFI off the USB, CDs might...

EVO + RAPID is faster

It is extremely unacceptable that Samsung Magician / RAPID software is incompatable with Samsung M.2 SSD drives. DDR4 2400 & faster can still speed up M.2 drives & Samsung must update its applications to support their newest & best M.2 SSDs.

Snap - in install to M.2 connector - couldn't be any easier. Rapid copies & installs. Good Speed for an SSD.

SAMSUNG EVO with its included RAPID RAM caching software runs significantly faster. RAPID software fails to work with Samsung M.2 Drives - incompatable with 3rd party RAM caching software also...

i like it

would love to see a 1 TB this size for the same price and a cheaper 1TB+ 850 pro so people can phase out the old HDD and make these a new standard

awesome performance in an ssd the size of a stick of gum basically, takes up no extra real estate goes onto motherboard nice and easy, win 7 fresh install was funky so i put OS on the 850pro i figure let the cheaper one do most of the work and save...

Wow is this fast

This is my first SSD and wow does it speed things up. Installed Win10 quickly and had the most flawless PC build I have ever had.

Just plain stupid fast. Really quiet. Replaced my mechanical drive with this. Complete silence.

M.2 ports are hard to find. Making sure the MB bios supported NVMe was tricky. So I only looked at MB that claimed to support NVMe. I ended up getting the Asus Z170-A.

Dedicate 10 percent of the drive

Run Benchmarking program after you dedicate 10 percent of the drive

Very fast....Run Samsung magician to dedicate 10 percent of the drive for Cache

Stupid Fast!

-Great value, definitely worth the price! Would highly recommend this to anyone building a computer.

-Ludicrous speed SSD! Seriously, I cannot get over how snappy my computer is now -Fair price

-My BIOS doesn't natively support NVMe, but that's not the SSD's fault

So fast as OS drive!

Works great on z170x gaming 7 board! Use bottom m.2 slot though.

Fast as lightning compared to regular SSD!
