Could not ask for more!

For the price this was a solid buy. Zero regrets and I might be purchasing another one soon.

I got this external SSD because I had a Western Digital My Passport die on me after some time. I am used to travel between buildings and usually have to use a different laptop or desktop at each one. This guy is great! The speed is on point, the...

Have yet to find a con with functionality. I would say that the rubber design might make it seem that the drive is exerting a lot of pressure on the usb if opened downward. But this is not even an issue as you can bend it to the top and then connect...

Fast, small, reasonably priced usb ssd

The package is nice looking and small. It is very fast: I get write speeds of 480 Mbps. Good value for the price Fast enough to run VM

7200 rpm. LOL

the only way you get this SSD to spin at 7200 rpm is to put it in a blender

Good option for SSD

Bought this for my desktop. Brought the Windows experience index to 7.2 for primary disk transfer. Not quite as fast as the Kingston HyperX I bought for my laptop, windows experience index of 7.6. But, still blazing fast.

Loads Windows 8 OS in 5 Secs.

WOW! My laptop (purchased here of course) loads so fast. Easy to transfer or copy old HD image using external HDD via USB. Place the SSD in the external case and download a free partition copying software. Format, Activate and copy. So simple!

Decent Performance but...

Of course this voided my ability to return the drive and I am now dealing with Sandisk for a return or repair. While one should not expect the drive to hold up to repeated install activity, one would expect the drive to withstand removing the power...

Solid Performance, Seed, Boot times etc

Flimsy SATA Power Connector - I had an issue when removing the drive power cable to move the drive to a different bay. Part of the plastic connector stayed in the cable connector leaving all the pins exposed Unaware of this, I unknowingly bent a pin...

not sold ready for Win8 64-bit SATA III

This is an update for my earlier *one egg* review called: Does not work. I expected to edit that review, but can't. So the SSD would not run on Windows 8 64-bit under SATA III. But I was advised to download a firmware ISO and boot to permit the ISO to...

Should run on Win8 without firmware update

Good performance for a lower-power drive

I've only had a single SSD fail on me (Micron C4, which they replaced quickly), but this drive is still a relatively unknown. I'm hoping that the Sandisk quality is up and the drive won't fail.

Solid performance numbers, lower power draw at peak (compared to Samsung 830), and stability so far. It's been a great performer for me ; The price per GB of storage fell to under the magical $1/GB, which does help to make the drive more accessible

Thus far, I can't find any real faults with this drive. It's performed every bit as well as my Samsung 830
