Excellent Drive

It takes longer for my computer to POST and start up the BIOS than for this drive to load Windows 7 Ultimate. Did not see any noticeable increase in load times for game like ES4 or Battlefield BC2.

Very Fast

Some motherboards do not recognize it is CMOS, yet works fine a primary drive ; Be aware to watch for junk files stacking up or you run out of space quickly

Good Service

I get western digital because of the warranty and RMA process. Even though the drives aren't the most reliable, I get new ones shipped to me promptly when one goes bad. I don't have to come up with "proof of purchase". Very safe with western digital. I...

I hope they last

Western Digital SiliconEdge Blue SSC-D0064SC-2100 2.5" 64GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) - OEM

Using this only for the OS (Windows 7) and programs. I put all of my media/documents on a 1TB WD drive (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822136284). Super fast, access time seems near 0

It's probably because I'm cheap and didn't buy a larger version, but I've filled it to about 75% already with basic programs I use all of the time. Nothing wrong with the drive, though

Excellent for the $$$

System: WD Blue SSD 64GB 2x WD Blue 640GB 7200 rpm Antec 1200 with Antec 850W PS Intel i7 920 @ 3.6 GHz ASUS P6X58D Premium Corsair Dominator (3 x 2GB) @ 1600 XFX Radeon 5850 Black Edition

I was looking for my first SSD to put in my new build. Nothing fancy, or super expensive. This fit the bill perfectly. I've now used it for ~7 months, and it's worked perfectly everyday. It's not large enough to put everything, but your OS and favorite...

A lot of cases still don't come with 2.5" bays, so I do wish this came with at least a cheap bay adapter. I ended up just putting 1 screw in, and it seems to hold it up just fine. But it does look a little ghetto

Lasted 4 months

First off, the drive is fast. SSD is the future and the future is bright. The downside is the drive only lasted 4 months and then failed. The bigger downside is when I called WD they said the serial number of my drive was showing 'not valid' (this was...

Fast

Short lifespan, Bad customer service

Faster than my last one

Glad Western Digital is in the SSD game, I've always bought them in the past and I'll continue to do so.

Transfer rates seem exactly as advertised, boots up faster than my last SSD and writes are noticeably fast

Not really a con, but my motherboard doesn't suport ACHI
