Bowers & Wilkins T7

The unique design of the Bowers & Wilkins T7 speaker is matched by a high-quality portable Bluetooth audio experience.

Powerful audio output for size. Rich bass and clear, well-defined high-mids and highs. Stunning design

Not for purists. DSP prevents distortion, but sculpts the sound at higher volumes. Light on accessories. No speakerphone feature

Bowers & Wilkins' first portable Bluetooth speaker is a stunning design piece that will class up any desk, countertop, or picnic blanket. The $349.99 T7 delivers rich bass response and well-defined, crisp highs, and does so without distorting—though it...

Bowers & Wilkins T7 Review – a Portable Bluetooth Speaker with Class

There are way too many portable bluetooth speakers on the market these days, so it takes a lot to stand out. Bowers & Wilkins has managed to do just that with their T7 speaker. The T7 isn't one of the smaller portable speakers that you'll find out...

Unique design and great build quality. Excellent balanced audio with no distortion on loud volumes. Solid battery life of around 18 hours

Pricey. No speakerphone or NFC. No included carry bag

Bowers & Wilkins T7 review: Where less is so much more

A great sounding speaker, though it's not the most versatile

Loud and clear sound from a small speaker ; Outstanding battery life ; Well designed ; Easy to use

Does not double as portable battery ; No NFC ; No microphone for use as a speakerphone ; No resistance to water

Bowers & Wilkins T7

The T7 is Bowers & Wilkins' first portable Bluetooth speaker, promising big sound but with a big £300 price tag.

Fantastic sound quality ; Unique speaker design ; Great battery life

Very expensive ; Plastic frame scratches ; No Micro USB charging support

The Bowers & Wilkins T7 isn’t the most portable speaker, but it delivers fantastic, room-filling sound and mammoth battery life, making it well worth the money.

Bowers & Wilkins T7 review: The Bluetooth speaker worth waiting for

Bowers & Wilkins must have grown tired of questions about when it would enter the Bluetooth speaker market. After all, it was one of the pioneers of premium iPod and iPhone docks with its Zeppelin range. It even embraced Airplay as a wireless music...

Every inch of its design is based on audio performance rather than just aesthetic, remarkably clear and realistic soundfield even at high volumes, tuned to favour vocals and crispness, bass response is deep and tangible too

Perhaps a little heavy to be truly portable for travellers, rubber surround picks up dust very easily, only comes in black but for good reason

Bowers & Wilkins was right to wait for CSR's aptX technology to improve wireless audio transmission over Bluetooth before debuting its first portable speaker. It's an excellent example of style and substance that the brand can be proud of.

Bowers & Wilkins T7 review

The Bowers & Wilkins T7 is a Bluetooth speaker with fantastic sound and also looks amazing

Usually we’re slightly aggrieved when a Bluetooth speaker uses a DC charging port rather than Micro USB as it means you need to carry a separate charger, but as the T7 weighs a considerable 940g it’s not really designed to be taken on the move. It’s...

It's not cheap, but the T7 is as sure-footed as you'd get from a portable Bluetooth speaker of its size.
