Libratone Diva

The Diva by Libratone is a stylish soundbar that feels more like a big wireless music speaker than a home theater sound system.

Attractive design. Supports AirPlay, Bluetooth, NFC, and Wi-Fi. Crisp, clear sound with solid bass response.

Very expensive. No remote. Small sound field for a soundbar. Underwhelming performance unless you crank up the volume.

The Libratone Diva is an attractive, expensive, solid-sounding speaker system. But without a remote and with a limited sound field, it doesn't quite cut it as a home theater soundbar. If you want a good-looking speaker to show off in your home (and can...

If your main concern is music streaming, this is worth investigating. And stroking

Agile, exciting sound Good looks

Needs greater solidity and subtlety Connection issues

Overall, the Libratone Diva is a success. Bar a few connection issues, this is a strong one-box sound system. If your main concern is music streaming and you want something stylish, this is worth checking out.

Libratone Diva soundbar review: Woolly mammoth

Lots of great things come out of Denmark. Lego, red cattle, famous chefs, and now wool-covered Bluetooth soundbars. That last one is exactly what Diva, the all-in-one speaker system with a woollen jacket by Danish audio manufacturer Libratone, is all...

Unique woolen design, colour options, decent sound, Bluetooth/Airplay/Wi-Fi control with new simple connection process

Main unit is plasticky, some competitors offer additional controls for bass/treble/etc, fussy main control dial

The Libratone Diva sells itself on being different from other soundbars out there. How many other products in the tech world are encased in wool? Yep, keep on thinking.

Libratone Diva

Libratone has launched “Diva”, a powerful TV soundbar with a colorful design. Like many other soundbars you can also use your smartphone or tablet to stream music to it via Bluetooth, Airplay, Spotify Connect or DLNA.

Libratone Diva is a beautiful soundbar that will fit into most modern living rooms. You can change the wool covers to almost every color and create the look you want. The Diva is not only pretty, but also a great TV or music speaker that gets the most...

Libratone Diva soundbar review

The Libratone Diva, at first glance, doesn't look like your average soundbar. Instead, the all-in-one speaker system that can sit nicely under your TV shares more in common with a flock of sheep than a piece of audio equipment, as Libratone has decked...

Libratone's Diva, frankly, looks odd. It shares plenty in common with other soundbars out on the market, such as its long shape and simple controls, but the Danish company has taken a different approach to its design, with a soft, woolly cover to make...

The Libratone Diva isn't for everyone though. Its wooly exterior splits opinion on style and it's prone to picking up plenty of fluff, while the rear of the main chassis is rather plasticy and doesn't scream premium. The front controls are rather...

While it does look a bit of a black sheep once you've got it out of the box, the Libratone Diva's sound quality will blow you away and clear up any misconception its odd wooly looks give out - and if you get bored of black, you can change its fabric...
