Marshall's Stanmore II Voice smart speaker improves upon the already-solid audio of the Stanmore II Bluetooth while adding your choice of Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant voice control to the mix.

Powerful audio performance with rich bass depth and crisp highs. Handsome design. Mics pick voice up easily from long distances. Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant models available.

The sound quality is fairly good overall, especially with rock music, but I had several problems with its operation.

Marshall Stanmore II plays much louder sound than the competition, without compromising the balance. It crushes them, quite simply.

No other smart speakers we have heard deliver this sound pressure. It just gets even heavier because it also sounds balanced and good enough for calm tones.

The sound can be experienced as a bit rough at the edges, and the appearance of the Marshall speakers does not appeal to everyone.
