When I went to the store I couldn't decide between the Polk sub or the Sony, but I went with the Sony and I've never been happier. It really makes my whole system come together. It gives a lot of bang, for a little buck!

This is a great speaker for the price! The lows that come out from the speaker sound great. Although I have not used this speaker to it full potential because I paired it with an old receiver.

This subwoofer gives some pretty serious bass, Subtracting 1 star as the case is rather large if you don't have the space to hide it. Setup was very straightforward, but I have not ensured all the crossover frequencies are tuned with the receiver.

This subwoofer does exactly what you think it would. Sounds very well in a 5.1 system. No need for anything more than this
