Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA review

The Asus Flip TP200SA is a wonderful budget notebook with an unforgivably slow processor.

I wish the Asus TP200SA was allowed to reach its potential. In many areas the notebook is an excellent budget system. It’s attractive, has a decent keyboard, is reasonably light, lasts a very long time on battery, and even serves up a high-contrast...

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA

The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is a versatile convertible-hybrid laptop with a sturdy design and solid port options.

Compact design. Sturdy hinge. In-Plane Switching (IPS) display is sharp. Good port selection, including a USB-C port. Almost 12 hours of battery life in testing.

Display backlight is a little dim. Middling performance in our tests.

Conclusion The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is a good convertible-hybrid at a fair price, with solid build quality, a wide variety of I/O ports, and impressive battery life. The display is sharp, but it could be brighter, and the system's overall...

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA Convertible Review

Worthy budget 2-in-1. Asus' new version of their 11.6-inch Transformer Book ticks all the important checkmarks for budget convertibles. True, the storage could be larger and the performance better - but from a price-to-value ratio, the little machine...

IPS display, very light, long battery life, decent ergonomics, good speakers, USB 3.1 Gen1 (Type-C) port

hinge not quite strong enough, only Micro-SDXC cards supported, performance just adequate, difficulties running certain benchmark tests, lower edge of touchpad "catches" occasionally

The slim-and-light Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA differs in many ways from the predecessor Transformer Book 200TA Convertible. One thing hasn't changed though: Asus still uses an IPS display despite the low price of $350. Other budget 2-in-1...

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA Review

The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is an Intel Celeron-powered Windows 10 2-in-1. It's not the most powerful, but this 2-in-1 was built for mobility. Find out how well in this full review.

Excellent battery life ; Decent build and display ; Better price to performance than other products in its class

Subpar keyboard ; Too many Windows 10 bugs at launch ; Unnecessary bloatware annoying

The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is a good device. It’s well-crafted, has a respectable spec sheet, and a phenomenal battery life. The display is also decent for its class, and the 2-in-1 design proves useful for those looking for a secondary or...

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA (32 GB) Convertible Review

An eyeful? The convertible alongside its IPS TFT presents itself as a bargain. Unfortunately, the HD panel is not absolutely recommendable after all.

IPS panel, very light, long battery life, good ergonomics, decent speakers, USB C 3.1 Gen. 1, corresponds to USB 3.0

PWM already at below 90 % brightness, hinge too loose, only micro SDXC card support, low performance, 32 GB eMMC too tight

The Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is far from perfect, but the buyer might just be able to turn a blind eye or two at a price of 350 Euros (~$379). In fact, turning a blind eye is meant literally because although the IPS panel has nice colors and wide...

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA

We're in the midst of a foldable frenzy. Companies are bending over backwards (sorry) to emulate the foldable laptop/tablet hybrid design, used perhaps most recognisably used by Lenovo on its range of Yoga convertible laptops.

Decent build quality ; Good value ; Good colour reproduction

Lack of storage space ; Underwhelming performance ; Too much bloatware

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA review: Flippin' good value

Asus doesn't half like to stick it to Apple when it can. First the ZenBook UX305 from last year showed Apple up by being what the rapidly-ageing MacBook Airs should be. Now the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA laughs right in the face of the 12-inch...

Great value, reasonable quality IPS display, decent typing experience, good battery life, silent 24/7

Poor performance under any pressure, very limited storage, wobbly screen hinge

Do you want a basic laptop to take out and about with you for a bit of work or play? If you have a little patience then the Flip really is a winning combo.

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA review

A low-cost Windows 10 laptop in a high-end disguise

Great keyboard ; Solid build quality ; Great size and lightweight

Mediocre display ; So-so performance

The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is solidly built and has a few niceties, but it's merely average in performance.

Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA review

Can't afford a Surface Pro 4? Asus has a cheaper alternative with this touchscreen laptop that flips over to convert into a tablet. But is it a bargain or a waste of money? Read our Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA review to find out

Whether the Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA is a good buy or not depends entirely on your priorities. If you want to open up loads of browser windows and have plenty of apps open at once, this isn’t for you.The Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA...

Review: Asus Transformer Book Flip TP200SA

C heap laptops generally don't equate to a solid physical design. The Asus TP200SA however, is remarkably well made for a laptop with an RRP of $599. Compact with an 11.6” screen and weighing only 1.2kg, it will slip into a satchel bag easily, as will...
