Dell Venue 11 Pro (7139)

Dell's Venue 11 Pro (7139) is the company's top-of-the-line tablet with enterprise level security features. It's built to meet all the needs of an enterprise business, and it's our top choice for high-end business tablets.

All-day battery life. Bright, 1080p HD IPS touch display. Uses microUSB charging. Keyboard dock adds battery power. Desktop dock option. Swappable battery. Active stylus. Biometric security and TPM. Windows 8.1 Pro

Only one USB 3.0 port. No stylus storage. Limited recline angle on keyboard dock hinge. Aggressive default screen dimming

The Dell Venue 11 Pro (7139) ($1,252.37 as tested) is the top-of-the-line version of our current Editors' Choice for entry-level business slate tablets, the Dell Venue 11 Pro. The Venue 11 Pro (7139) has an upgraded ultrabook-class processor and a...

Dell Venue 11 Pro bets on a full-HD display

It costs more than other Atom-powered tablets, but the 1080p screen is a standout feature.

The well-built ; has an excellent full-HD display, plenty of configuration options, and an optional keyboard and docking station. Battery life is also excellent.

That sold-separately keyboard dock suffers from occasional lag and a tiny touch pad, and even low-end configurations are more expensive than other tablets or hybrids.

Betting on a full 1080p display partly justifies the Dell Venue 11 Pro's higher price compared to other Atom-powered tablets. But the keyboard dock add-on, which should turn this into a functional laptop alternative, is too expensive and occasionally...

Dell Venue 11 Pro review: This Atom-powered Windows tablet goes full-HD

One of the more ambitious ideas for Windows 8 was that it would work equally well across a wide variety of screen sizes. Not just the 13-inch, 15-inch, and 17-inch laptops that previous versions of Windows were mostly found on, but also 8- and 11-inch...

Review: Dell Venue Pro

Smartphone designers generally follow the same credo as ballerinas and runway models — you can never be too thin. Dell Venue Pro 7/10 Learn How...

One of the most well-appointed WinMo phones to date. Tough Gorilla Glass screen takes all kinds of abuse. Comfortable, idiot-simple QWERTY keypad. Snappy boot time

Not exactly pocket-friendly. Craptastic camera performance in low-light settings. Hand-offs between apps and the web are still jarring. Slightly curved display is a smudge magnet. Trickle of WinMo apps limits potential

Dell Venue Pro (T-Mobile)

The T-Mobile Dell Venue Pro is a Windows Phone 7 device with a terrific keyboard, but some key flaws.

Gorgeous build. Terrific keyboard. Huge screen. Windows Phone 7 has excellent media, gaming, and productivity support.

Fluctuating reception. Short battery life. No HSPA+. Poor photo quality in low light.

Production Concerns, and Conclusions Dell isn't known for making reliable smartphones. The Streak was a mess. The Aero was so bad, the company didn't even send out review units. And the Venue Pro has had some noted production delays and gaffes. Even...

Dell Venue Pro

Microsoft seemed ready to take over the mobile world with the launch of Windows Phone 7, but so far we've seen only a handful of phones. The Dell Venue Pro ($100 with a two-year contract from T-Mobile) is an affordable yet powerful WP7 offering. It...

Gorgeous AMOLED display ; Good camera

Keyboard is a bit cramped ; Windows Phone 7 is missing some key features

The Dell Venue Pro won't win any beauty contests, but it is an affordable and powerful phone with an excellent display.

Dell Venue Pro: Lightning Strikes

When we first looked at the retail Windows Phone 7 devices back in September of last year, we had one general takeaway - the hardware, regardless of manufacturer, was fairly conservative. Samsung's popular Focus is basically just a respecced version of...

Review: Dell Venue 11 Pro Windows tablet

It's often said that that you shouldn't mix business with pleasure. If that's the case, someone needs to tell the folks at Dell, because the high-end business-focused Venue 11 Pro tablet is a joy to use. We already knew its specs looked impressive, but...

Once the Venue 11 Pro is connected to the bigger of the two detachable keyboards that are available it feels much like using a small laptop. In fact, the size is the only real giveaway. I'd say that the smaller keyboard and screen necessitated by a...
