The Nextbook Ares 11 comes with a detachable keyboard, and pricing starts under $200. It runs Android Lollipop 5.0 and has 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card expansion slot.

Build quality feels cheap, and performance is slow. Touchscreen accuracy and response are erratic. The display is very reflective, and maximum brightness is low.

Although affordable, the Nextbook Ares 11 isn't fit to be your next workstation or tablet. You'd be better off investing in an inexpensive Chromebook.

Running the latest Google operating system, Lollipop 5.0, packing 64GB of internal storage, and offering a multitude of ports doesn't save the Ares 11 from its lackluster performance and rinky-dink construction.

In the Android tablet space, price has always been a key factor in quality. The cheaper the tablet, the lower the quality, and it was almost always an instant no when talking about whether it should be purchased or not. Nextbook has changed things up...

So, what's the bottom line here? You get some nice hardware on the tablet, a keyboard, and great battery life in a nice bundle. What's not proven here is Nextbook's software updates, so if you are thinking ahead and wondering if the tablet will be...

Broke in 6 weeks, no repair or replacement options, warrantee stinks. Cant even pay for repairs. Trash Next means there will be something else NEXT. its junk
