Philips 32PFL9604 32in LCD TV

The 32PFL9604 is yet another high quality and innovative LCD TV from Philips.

Philips hasn't had the best time in the press recently, with tales of plummeting sales and earnings. But if the 32PFL9604 is anything to go by, it looks like the brand will at least have another clutch of positive reviews to help keep its pecker up...

Philips 32PFL9604 review

There's no doubt that the '9604 is a hugely impressive set, but for £999 it can't quite pick up the full five-stars

Huge aesthetic appeal ; sophisticated menus ; feature-packed ; fantastic with Freeview and Blu-ray images

Price, price, did we mention the price?

The '9604 is one of the best 32in sets we've seen this year, but it doesn't push performance to a level that can justify its price

Philips Ambilight 32PFL9604 television

Occasionally we come across a TV that can take days to review properly, and the feature-packed Philips 32PFL9604 is certainly one of them. A diminutive 32-inch size, this aluminium-framed LCD TV is also one of the most tempting - not because of its...

Net TV, connectivity, best-ever HD pics, awesome speakers

Picture settings hidden, remote needs more buttons, expensive

TV brands often try to differentiate themselves by offering unique features, but Philips has gone the whole hog by stuffing this great looking 32-incher with top tech. Encompassing everything from internet access to Wi-Fi connection to a computer, the...

A feature-packed LCD TV with amazing motion-processing technology, it suffers from dull reds and a high price.

Philips 32PFL9604H review

As the latest HD TV in Philips' Cineos line, the 32PFL9604H has all the features we've come to expect, including network connectivity, HD Natural Motion and a 100Hz refresh rate.

A feature-packed LCD TV with amazing motion-processing technology, it suffers from dull reds and a high price.

Philips 32PFL9604 1920x1080p LCD HDTV.

Philips' LCD TVs seem to have something of an enthusiastic user base, but truth be told, the most time I've spent with them has been when I'm staying in hotels (a market the company seems to dominate), where they have most of the settings locked out....

1920x1080 panel allows for unadulterated detail from 1080 sources, Calibrated Greyscale accuracy is fantastic, Both uncalibrated, and calibrated Colour is also fantastic, Unique user interface should prove easy for all to use, Excellent sound, by TV...

Common LCD issues of black level and viewing angle issues, User interface can be unusually slow at times, Little to justify the sky-high price tag
