Ive had this for almost a year now and its holding strong.

Great TV

 

People are really complaining about the speakers? What are you expecting with this sort of TV??? Do yourself a favor and get a cheap surround set. I did throw a keg cup at it during the superbowl (not the Tv's fault, the Patriots) and did not realize...

I'm not a TV snob, but you probably shouldn't be either if you're looking at this. I replaced my old 32 inch 1080i Sanyo with this. The difference is absolutely amazing. The picture is so much better than what I was used to. I love that it...

As others mentioned the presets are garbage and don't do the TV justice. I found a post with a really good one though and it looks great

It's okay

 

You tend to get what you pay for in the TV market.. I never heard of Haier before I bought this TV.. It will be a good tv till I want to spend some real cash on a Samsung.

It was dang cheap ; Overall brightness is good ; Easy to use menu

2 dead pixels already ; Doesn't go full screen on HDMI from a PC, has a border around the edges of about 3/4 an inch ; Viewing angle could be better ; Pixel density isn't wondrous

This is a good starter HDTV. Good for TV shows, sports and as a PC monitor (like right now.) An avid movie buff should avoid this because of the uneven backlighting. The lighting hot spots are obvious in dark scenes. If you watch movies and don't use...

easy assembly, light weight for its size, plenty of inputs, compact remote, nice color and brightness, everything works

Bought this during the Cyber Monday promo - $299 I believe it was. How can you go wrong? Excellent picture. Excellent sound. Granted, i'm not some home theater snob, like some people, but it's perfect for me for gaming on the xbox360

Not HDCP compliant!!!!

 

Newegg stepped up once again though - this is why I always Newegg. Great TV, love it except for the lack of HDCP compliance. Too bad this makes it worthless to me as I cannot watch HD cable on it.

Great color ; Great dimensions ; Great price ; Official HDTV of the NBA ; Plenty of inputs

Not HDCP compliant ; Worse, there is no way to tell the TV is not HDCP compliant until you hook it to the cable box ; Great as a PC monitor, for xBox, PS3, etc...does not work with devices that have HDCP protection

1 Dead pixel. (no big deal honestly) -This is the first time I felt compelled to get a warranty on an electronics purchase. Used square trade. Overall I am happy with my purchase. Good deal for $300, Bad if you pay more.

300, I cannot complain too much about the picture quality or anything for that matter.

Excellent price! Got it on cyber Monday for $300 ; Numerous hookups ; Sturdy stand ; Excellent construction

Picture quality is poor especially scenes in the dark. Stated TV is TFT but viewing from side angles is terrible ; Built in power cord instead of detachable cord like most monitors/tvs in the market ; Speakers can be better
