Hisense U8H smart TV (65-inch-class model 65U8H)

Hisense's new U8H delivers outstanding color and black at a relatively affordable (for mini-LED) price. There are minor processing issues (shimmer and moiré), but in total, but it still compared favorably with the big three's efforts.

Excellent color ; Granular mini-LED backlighting ; Excellent contrast–for an LCD TV ; Supports Dolby Vision HDR and Dolby Atmos audio

Obvious shimmer and moiré ; Mediocre motion processing

Hisense’s U8H impressed us with its rich quantum dot color and mini-LED backlighting. It produces offers some of the best blacks we’ve seen from an LCD TV. Video processing and motion handling, on the other hand, aren’t quite as strong.
