The JVC DM65USR would be an excellent UHD television if it wasn't held back by a dependence on a Roku accessory keeping 4K content from Netflix and Amazon out of reach.

Solid contrast with accurate colors. 5 HDMI ports. Inexpensive for a big-screen 4K HDTV.

Can't access 4K content from Amazon or Netflix. Unresponsive QWERTY remote. Some contrast settings severely wash out colors.

JVC Diamond DM65USR LCD Ultra HDTV Review

The JVC required considerable tweaking to get the best from it, but once dialed in, it looked excellent with 4K test patterns and 1080p Blu-ray material.

Bargain price for a 65-inch Ultra HD set; Good blacks and shadow detail; Impressive sound

Clips above white and below black; Odd gamma; Typical LCD off-axis performance; Wobbly stand
