JVC DM65USR

 

The JVC DM65USR would be an excellent UHD television if it wasn't held back by a dependence on a Roku accessory keeping 4K content from Netflix and Amazon out of reach.

Solid contrast with accurate colors. 5 HDMI ports. Inexpensive for a big-screen 4K HDTV.

Can't access 4K content from Amazon or Netflix. Unresponsive QWERTY remote. Some contrast settings severely wash out colors.

Power and Conclusions The DM65USR can be a power hog when putting out its best picture, and under normal viewing conditions it consumed 201 watts in our calibrated Custom mode. The dimmer Movie mode cut that number down to 111 watts, but the sacrifice...
