A Review of the LG Electronics 65UF9500 65-inch 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart LED TV – UF9500

The LG UF9500 65-inch 4K Ultra HD 3D Smart LED TV isn't the very best in the LG lineup but it comes very close to being so.

Superb webOS 2.0 platform ; Exquisite Nano Crystal color enhancement ; Full connectivity package ; The TV runs fast on its quad-core processor

No full-array backlighting ; Poor contrast levels and no HDR compatibility ; A bit too expensive

The LG UF9500 is a great TV in most regards but its deficiencies and price tag mean that it doesn't offer as good a deal as other high-end 2015 TVs from Samsung or Sony.

LG 65UF9500 LCD Ultra HDTV Review

2D Performance 3D Performance Features

LG Electronics has impressed enthusiasts with stunning (and mostly expensive) OLED displays, but the company competes aggressively in traditional LED-driven LCD flat panels, too. The 65UF9500 reviewed here is a 65-inch Ultra HD model near the top of...

LG 65UF9500 65-Inch Ultra HD 4K Review: Sleek with webOS Smarts

Once you've seen LG's OLED TVs, it's difficult to forget how brilliant and sharp they are compared to everything else, even LG's own LCD ultra-HD sets. However, LG's 55-inch 4K OLED starts at $5,000, or $2,000 more than this larger, 65-inch 4K LCD TV....

Excellent smart-TV interface ; Zippy remote control ; Good color ; Robust audio ; 3D support, with glasses included

Quirky stand ; Pricey ; Less-than-perfect contrast

The LG 65UF9500 delivers a sharp 4K picture with good color and smart webOS software in an attractive design.

LG 65-inch UHD TV (65UF950T) review

Are we ready for the UHD revolution?

UHD resolution with 6-step upscaling engine ; WebOS software feels tailored to the television form factor ; One 'do it all' magic remote ; Slim design

UHD content is scarce and upscaling engine still is not good enough ; Premium pricing

LG 65UF950V

The 65UF950V is LG's top-tier LCD TV for 2015 – aside from the brand's huge 79in and 84in UB980V series, that is. The 65UF950V's 65in screen uses LG's IPS technology to support wider viewing angles as well as the company's new ColourPrime technology,...

Stunning design ; webOS continues to lead the way ; Good sound for such a slim TV

Poor native contrast performance ; Significant backlight inconsistencies/striping when using local dimming ; Strange patches of crosstalk with 3D

LG 65UF950 review

Definitive proof that looks aren't everything...

Outrageously thin design ; WebOS is still brilliant ; Bright, colourful pictures ; Decent audio

Poor native contrast ; Horribly messy local dimming ; Expensive ; No HDR support

LG's flagship LCD TV for 2015, the 65-inch 65UF950V, combines a spectacular, ultra-skinny design with features galore - including this season's must have wide colour gamut technology and the latest iteration of LG's webOS smart TV system. But it turns...

LG 55UF950V review

The 55in LG 55UF950V is one of the Korean giant's premium 4K TVs – and it's a dream to use

Super sharp, insightful performance ; Consistent across resolutions ; Fast and efficient OS ; Lovely remote

Picture can look over processed ; Competition has more subtlety

Bettered by rivals, but puts in a strong 4K performance

LG promises better colours and more of them with its newest 4K flagship TV

With its new UF950T range LG is betting that if you buy a new TV this year, it's going to be 4K. The ultra-high definition panels are now the standard when it comes to screen resolution on the new crop of smart TVs, boasting a whopping 3,840 x 2,860...

I've only spent a little time with the 65UF980T so far, but what I have seen, I like. It's a solid continuation of what LG have been offering in the smart TV department and WebOS continues to dominate the pack when it comes to smart TV software -- lets...
