LG 60PN5700 1080p Plasma Smart TV Review

Even though the LG 60PN5700 sits lower in the lineup of LG plasma TVs for the year, it has more built-in functionality. The only real difference between the two series is the inclusion of LG Smart TV features and an extra HDMI port on the 5700 series.

Black levels are average on this TV for a plasma and better than most LCD TVs. All that being said, the LG 60PN5700 does not have as good brightness, light flow through and color saturation as 1080p Samsung and Panasonic plasmas

Beautiful Plasma

The manual explains almost nothing when it comes to the filters and video settings. The configuration has a ton of options depending on how deep you want to go into setup and none of them are described anywhere. Its presets are nice though too so it is...

I am sick of defective products from both Samsung and LG. This tv is replacing a Samsung 58" Plasma that broke 3 times with the first two years. This tv brok within 4-5 hours. My LG refrigerator broke 3 times within the first 2 years and my Samsung...

Great TV

You will be happy with it. Although I am buying something for the glare because I have a bright room.

Awesome for the price ; Nice screen ; Good apps ; Good ports on it ; Big screen ; Easy to assemble stand ; You can control it with your phone with a free app from LG ; Newegg shipped it fast

Great bang for the buck

Still, very happy at $899

I upgraded from a 42" 720p LCD to this 60" plasma and what a diference! Finally the blacks are black lol. Fantastic picture and this smart tv is so customizable as in picture, color and even the sound.

Very shiney exturior glass. We had to change out the curtain on our bay window as it was hard to see the tv with all the glare from the window. We have two side windows that are not much of a problem, but if you're watching tv with a window 'behind'...
