LG Infinia 60PK750

LG's 60-inch 60PK750 plasma HDTV is a real looker, but it falls a bit short of the competition in the performance department.

Gorgeous cabinet. Accurate colors. Excellent viewing angles.

Blacks not as dark as with other plasma sets. Not very energy efficient.

LG 60PK750 50PK750 Plasma HDTV Review - Intro

The LG 60PK750 certainly looks impressive. Its giant screen is comprised of a single piece of plastic. It performed pretty well on our tests, but it wasn't a stellar display in terms of picture quality. What it is, however, is big, and it's a decent...

The LG 60PK750 is a decently-priced TV for people who are looking for size and some basic online connectivity. It had decent picture quality: nothing bad enough to put off the average viewer, but certainly not good enough to entice cinephiles. If you...

LG 60PK750

Not the greatest performer, but a decent price for a 60-inch set with basic online features

Decent power consumption for a 60-inch plasma; Solid color temperature

Dim peak brightness; Very reflective screen

LG is all set to introduce a new line of plasma HDTV with its PK750 series. LG 60PK750 is 60 inch plasma HDTV of the PK750 series that is equipped with LG's advanced technologies and designed with high-end features. The yet-to-be-released model from LG...

Adding another positive feature to the PK750 series, LG has designed the models so that the user users can access LG’s NetCast service. The service can be accessed either with the built-in Ethernet or an additional USB wireless adapter. LG’s NetCast...

Amazing Picture

I put in an Ethernet line to the TV while the room was under construction so I have amazing network speeds on this set, streaming video from VUDU or Netflix in HD is not a problem (based on ISP as well obviously). I would recommend this set all day long.

Great Price, 60" TXH certified, awesome refresh rate and blacks. Fast Shipping. Easy to Setup. Internet Apps update automatically, new ones added over time. Single pane of glass so it is stunningly good looking TV

This TV is in a windowless basement theater room, so it looks great, but there is still some glare on it at times from the can lights in the ceiling

My TV is damaged in shipping

By the way, I always shop at New Egg. I am very satisfied customer. This is my first complain.

Excellent TV. Great picture

It was not a good idea to buy it online. It is too big, heavy and fragile to buy online. The glass top at bottom left corner was damaged in shipping. We decided not to go through the trouble of returning it. It is too heavy! We bought it in November...

Great screen!

Picture is great, accurate colors, decent netflix app built in. Lots of inputs, optical out (don't need to change inputs on my receiver now!)

Don't buy the WHDI transmitter LG makes for this series of screens. Terrible artifacting on fast motion, hardly 'lossless' as they claim, even in the same room. Also, don't buy the wall mount that newegg puts at the purchase page as if it's the right...

Horrible Picture Quality

The reviews here and at other sites were high and for 50" plasmas, this was Consumer Reports #1 pick. However, in any of the default modes the picture quality (PQ) looked either soft or blurry. In THX mode, it was very soft and dim. Even the THX bright...

Thin bezel and "protective glass skin" is very nice looking ; Internet connectivity ; THX modes ; Built-in Picture Wizard ; Tons of PQ settings ; Pricing

Lousy picture quality, especially compared to the next model down, the LG 50PK550 and a 3-yr old Panasonic. At the end of the day it's all about the PQ and the next model down beats this TV by a mile for a couple of benjamins less

Incredible size and color, but not the best white

The sound is decent enough for only having 2 10-watt speakers, but make sure you leave a little room between the wall and the TV. Otherwise, I think the sound will sound muffled as the speakers are in the back. If you have an external receiver with...

For color comparison, I watched Speed Racer on Blu-Ray because although it is not a great film (it's ok acting-wise, plot, etc...), how vibrant the colors were as well as the amount of color is why I chose that movie for review. I was blown away by how...

The whites are pretty dull if you are looking at the screen when mostly white is on the screen. My 22" computer monitor (LCD of course) has better whites. I only really noticed this when certain commercials came on, but since 95% of the time I am not...

it does have 24P Real Cinema according to Panasonic

To overcome this issue, Panasonic has introduced a 24P Playback function on its entire new range of VIERA flat screen TVs*. This new functionality uses technology to precisely match-up the frames with the 24p source and play it back without judder. Our...

A quick search would reveal that you SHOULD have bought the Panasonic if you wanted 24P
