LG 42LF7700 42in LCD TV

LG hops onto the Freesat bandwagon with its 42LF7700 LCD TV.

Elsewhere on the connections roster are three HDMIs (satisfactory when you consider that the built-in Freesat tuner replaces one of the potential external HDMI sources a ‘normal' TV would have to cater for), a USB jack for JPEG and MP3 playback, a...

LG 47LF7700 review

If you're after a big-screen bargain, then we can't recommend this Freesat toting LG enough. Find a good deal and you're laughing

Freesat ; brilliant detail, edge definition, contrast and motion for the money ; natural colours ; cracking menus

Audio performance can’t quite match the excellence of the visuals

You need to spend £1200 to get a better big screen, and that makes the ’LF7700 a serious bargain

LG 37LF7700 review

The 37LF7700 is LG's first foray into the world of Freesat TVs and it should be applauded

Good Freesat picture ; nice menus ; sounds reasonable

Some issues with motion ; colours can appear overblown

Considering this is LG’s first foray into the world of Freesat TVs, the 37LF7700 should be applauded

LG 37LF7700 review

LG's first Freesat-equipped TV is aggressively priced, comprehensively specified and delivers the goods in style

Cheaper than its Panasonic rivals, this Freesat set isn’t flawless, but it’s a very capable all-round performer

LG 32LF7700 review

A belting 32-inch Freesat TV capable of top-notch pictures

Stylish design ; Freesat tuner ; Blu-ray images ; Excellent value

Sometimes needs colour re-calibration for different sources

One or two forgivable flaws stop this LG from getting a Best Buy, but overall it's an excellent Freesat screen

LG 42LF7700 review

LG has doubled the range of Freesat HDTVs but Panasonic has set a high standard to beat

Excellent picture ; Nice design ; HD Freesat

No multi-sat options ; Doesn't play video from USB

This was an engineering sample with pre-release firmware, and LG assured us many issues will be solved in the final product. It holds its own against the competition, but as ever the Freesat tuner comes at the expense of better features and...

LG 37LF7700 review

LG's 37LF7700 is one of the cheapest TVs we've seen with integrated Freesat HD. There's a network port (a mandatory requirement of Freesat) but LG hasn't made use of this capability to offer media streaming or internet services.

Built-in Freesat HD makes this TV excellent value for money as long as you can put up with the slightly over-processed image and an EPG that could be better.

LG 42LF7700

Good all round performance with the added convenience of built-in Freesat ..

If you are interested in getting Freesat, there is nothing quite like the convenience of having the functionality built-in. The LG 42LF7700 having this advantage along with a decent all round performance, presents quite an appealing package....

LG 32LF7700 Freesat HD LCD TV

Up until recently only one manufacturer was producing Freesat HD enabled TVs and in the next year that number is likely to explode with multi-tuner sets on the way. In the meantime we have here the LG 32LF7700, a budget priced LCD TV with a Freesat HD...
