LG LM6700 review: LG LM6700

LG LM6700

The ; series delivers accurate color and good picture quality in 3D mode with little to no crosstalk. Its clever motion-control remote is used with a highly customizable menu system, and its Smart TV suite offers plenty of content. It ships with six...

The somewhat expensive LM6700 showed light black levels and shadows, and its glossy screen reflects too much ambient light. It lacks an option to engage smoothing and evinced worse motion resolution than other 120Hz TVs.

Although blessed with a unique design and plenty of useful extras, the disappointing picture quality of the LG LM6700 series makes it a questionable value.

LG 55LM6700

LG's good-looking 55-inch 55LM6700 3D LED HDTV is loaded with features, but you'll have to get used to its quirky remote.

Good picture. Built-in Wi-Fi. Passive 3D; bundled with six pairs of 3D glasses. Energy efficient.

Motion-based remote control takes some getting used to. Passive 3D only works best if you're sitting front-and-center.

LG 47LM6700HDTV

We have spent the past few years maligning 3D technology. We used our vastly creative negativity to rebuke what we felt was the most expensive and simultaneously worthless “innovation” in television history. Scathing reviews were written about 3D...

The best 3D in the business ; Great color detail ; A wide viewing angle for an LCD screen

Not the best contrast ratio around

The 47LM6700 ($1799 MSRP) is a spectacular 3D smart TV from LG, debuting in 2012. This 1080p display has a native refresh rate of 120Hz, excellent colors, a magic remote, and the best 3D images on the market.

LG 55LM6700 1080p LED Cinema 3D TVReview

If you're sold on an LED TV with passive 3D capabilities and you don't mind an unconventional remote, LG's 55LM6700 is worth a look.

To evaluate the set's 3D performance, I popped in a few high quality Blu-ray 3D titles including Sony's Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and Disney's recent (and woefully underrated) John Carter. On both titles, the 3D effect wasn't all that different...

The “End App”

LG 47LM5800 Review – 47-inch LED LCD HDTV

The model looks almost normal in comparison to the models launched by LG under LM7600 and LM6700 series. Unlike other high-end models launched by the manufacturer, this 47-inch LED TV does not sport the ultra-slick bezel design. A user also does not...

However, the model comes with a set of connectivity options that allow you to access your offline library of movies, music, photos and video stored on various types of discs and devices. The HDMI ports of the TV set can be used to it with a Blu-ray...

LG LM6700 55-Inch Internet TV

LG's LM6700 was a more budget-oriented version of our favorite Smart TV overall, the LM 9600. The intuitive Wii-style “Magic Remote” was still a favorite, along with the well-organized app hub, tying the LM6700 for easiest to use system with...
