LG produces its best plasma set yet, but...

The ; is the best plasma the company has ever produced, with deeper black levels than last year. Bright-room picture quality is very good thanks to the matte screen finish. The LG offers a good mix of features including the Magic Motion remote, onboard...

This LG has a worse picture, with lighter black levels and less accurate color, than some cheaper plasma rivals. There's overbearing, undefeatable smoothing applied to every mode except Game. 3D image quality is the worst the company has released this...

The LG PM9700 series improves on the company's 2011 plasmas, but it's unable to compete with similarly priced TVs.

LG 60PM9700

With 3D, integrated Wi-Fi, and more, LG's line of PM9700 plasma HDTVs aren't short on features. But disappointing picture quality makes them tough to recommend over similar-price models, including LED-based screens.

Good 3D performance. Built-in Wi-Fi.

Significant picture issues. 3D glasses are not included.

The LG 50PM9700 is a full-featured plasma set, but significant picture issues hold it back from being a great HDTV—plasma or otherwise. Its seemingly always-on motion blur reduction is off-putting, the screen doesn't get particularly dark without...

LG PM9700 review

If there's one company that's really doubled its efforts in regard to TV design this year, it's LG. Judged purely from the outside, the 2012 line looks like it should comprise the best TVs on the market -- very sleek and slim. But based on our...

LG 50PM9700

This LG is one of the more affordable flagships around, but it's not without flaws.

The PM9700 is a worthwhile plasma TV, as long as you don't care about 3D.

LG 60PM9700 Review – 60-inch Plasma HDTV

The model is one of the most advanced plasma TV sets launched by GL. It sports an ultra-slick bezel look along with 55-inch matte screen. It also comes with improved video related features and active 3D technology support to suit the entertainment...

The model is also designed with SmartShare 2.0 feature that enable users to stream digital content stored on their tablet computers, laptops and smartphones. At the same time, the model also supports the Smart TV feature. You can use the smart internet...

LG 60" Plasma TV

This TV was a great buy for the price paid., crystal clear resolution., user freindly interface.., Added bonus is the rotating pivital base that the TV rest on

JUNK

I called LG and the only "fix" is to replace the panel....for about $150 less than what the entire unit costs. I will never buy another LG ANYTHING. EVER.

:/

Less than 3 years old and it already has a dead pixel.

Not Smart Enough...

I am very happy with the picture quality....However, the "smart" features this TV boasts are hardly functional. Navigating the user interface is extremely slow and using any of the apps or the Internet is impossible due to a lack of system memory, or...

+ great picture quality + thin profile; sleek + 2D to 3D conversion; general 3D quality is good + stream from home PC + smartphone remote control app

- very slow user interface - very slow / poor wifi connection for browsing Internet / streaming Netflix - apps (YouTube, Internet, games) UNUSABLE due to lack of system memory; constant error messages - built in speakers poorly balanced with speech...

Eggstraordinary!

There is no audio out that I can find, except optical, but I think it might be optical-in.

My family and I have enjoyed the 2D to 3D feature with digital HGTV and with Blue-ray's, DVD's and PS3 games. The Games on the PS3 that are 3D games are very nice on this large screen. We watched the Hobbit Blue-ray 3D the other night and were...

The proccessor seems a bit laggy with the Smart Apps, like You Tube. Haven't found too many cons. This model does not come with the Magic Remote but the TV sure does ask you to calibrate one and pair it. Glad it is compatible but LG could have included...
