Panasonic Viera TX-P42X10 42in Plasma TV

Hot on the heals of its 50in cousin, the Panasonic Viera TX-P42X10 looks like a bit of a bargain.

Panasonic TX-P42X10B review

We've got an exclusive review of the first of Panasonic's new 2009 plasmas. It may 'only' be HD-ready resolution, but don't let that put you off

Great picture performance at the price ; pleasant enough design

Gives some detail and definition away to Full HD screens

Get beyond the unglamorous resolution and the TX-P42X10B is nothing but value

You might scoff at a £700 set that doesn't boast Full HD, but don't write off this Panny yet – it could just surprise you

Panasonic TX-P42X10 review

Quite possibly the cheapest 42' plasma ever built

Good pictures ; Attractive price ; Solid feature count

Not full HD ; Slightly soft standard-def images

Lovers of contrast or people who need a TV with a wide viewing angle will find much to like here

Panasonic TX-P42X10 Entry Level HD Ready Plasma TV

Over the last two months we have brought you some exclusive reviews from PanasonicÂ's latest selection of Plasma TVs. The range is quite extensive and while we have covered the G10 and V10 in quite some detail, there are base models we had...

Panasonic TX-P42X10

Does not push any technological boundaries but is actually an excellent all round performer ..

All round performance, Value

Does not really excel in any area

It is perhaps not surprising that we felt a little under whelmed by the performance of the TX-P42X10 given the leap forward the PX80 range was on its predecessors. Having had time to appreciate the merits of Panasonics new budget screen we are growing...

Panasonic TX-P42X10

Easy to install and set up.

It's quite heavy, requires two of you to hang it on the wall, but other than that everything seems fine, viewing and sound quality is good although I'm no connoisseur.
