Sharp LC-LE757U series review

Feature creep can be a problem when buying any new gadget, and it is especially prevalent when among televisions. You may think you just want something that can display a picture, but most companies want to sell you TVs with doodads that do little to...

The Sharp LC-LE757U series LED LCD TV features elegant design and a good mix of features; smart TV suite now gives a full-screen option; sound quality is quite good.

Colors are desaturated and cyan is overly blue; black levels are poorer than on the much-cheaper Sharp LE650 and shadow detail is also lacking; Quattron brings no picture quality benefits.

The stylish, Quattron-equipped Sharp LC-LE757U series doesn't offer a very good picture for the price.

Sharp LC-90LE757

Sharp is back - with a 90-inch TV monster

Huge screen size delivers cinematic impact ; Good picture quality ; Fair value for such a ground-breakingly large screen

Online services are painfully lightweight ; Some crosstalk with 3D ; Screen size is unforgiving of source picture flaws

We’d strongly recommend setting the backlight quite low when watching in dark rooms in order to secure the best black levels, with the contrast at around 75--8% to make sure images still look punchy but don’t look stressy or over noisy.

Sharp LC-90LE757 review

It takes a lot to shock me these days, but the 90LE757 knocked me for the proverbial six in a number of ways. Firstly, it has Sharp's name on it. This is somewhat startling, given that the brand's TVs have been AWOL from my test bench for many months.

HD pictures generally look good; DVDs are upscaled quite well; decent sound quality and stereoscopic performance

Minor 3D crosstalk; not a 4K panel; poor Smart TV service; average design and build quality

Love it!

I put on it Google Tv, that solved that problem. I love everything about it. It has 4 HDMi ports, could have had more.. But this Television was very good for the price!.. I love everything about it!

HD ports, Smart Tv, Aquos, ect..

Can't add your own smart tv shortcuts from Google playstore.

dissapointing very bad 3d crosstalk(ghosting)

good size tv(but for a few hundred more you can buy a much better tv for 3d viewing)

good picture quality (except in 3d mode)

3d mode has some of the worst crosstalk(ghosting ever seen on a 3d display)

Wow! Great 3D TV

It's been a week since my TV was delivered, it was a long wait and I had high expectations. Well I can say that the wait was worth it. I just want to say I'm not a tv/audio snob. If it looks good and sounds good, I don't really get lost in the specs...

Pros: - Sharp LCD/size - Built in sound (subwoofer) - Cabinet design/matte screen - Smart tv (wifi) - Wallpaper mode

Cons: - Viewing angle (check it out in a local store) - Connecting to internet, not the easiest - 3D is kind of gimmicky

Worth Every One The Five Stars!

A few things first. This set weighs around 100 lbs., white glove delivery consists of unpacking the set to the point where they can plug it in and make sure it is operating properly. You will have to attach the base to the unit, requires only a...

Picture quality was excellent Colors perfect and the sound excellent CEC HDMI works pretty well TV is very energy efficient

Connecting to internet, not the easiest It's not inexpensive

Wifi Issues

If you plan on just using this TV for viewing purpose its a amazing TV. If you plan on using the smart features on wireless network be warned of the poor performance. Hopefully this can be fixed by a firmware update

Excellent picture quality, a lot of apps.

The Wi-Fi signal is very poor. Tried several different Sharp models and same results. Wi-Fi would connect but apps wouldn't respond. Tried on several different networks with same results.
