Sharp LC-43UB30U

Sharp's UB30 series of 4K HDTVs may be lacking in design, but they more than make up for it in performance and affordability.

Accurate, vivid colors. Very good black levels and contrast for a 4K LED HDTV. Inexpensive.

Awkward, flimsy-feeling remote. Connected features lag just slightly behind the competition.

Power Consumption and Conclusions Under normal viewing conditions, the 55UB30 consumes 128 watts in our calibrated mode. It doesn't have any specific power-saving settings, but the slightly dimmer Standard picture mode consumes 100 watts. Again, this...

Review of the Sharp LC-55UB30U 4K Ultra HD Smart LED TV – (LC-65UB30U, LC-50UB30U, LC-43UB30U Versions)

Among Sharp's rather excellent line of Aquos 4K ultra HD TVs, the UB30 line of which the LC-55UB30U is a part offers a mid-grade list of features while delivering all of the most crucial specs for a robust 4K ultra HD viewing experience in an LED/LCD...

Excellent contrast levels ; Superb content upscaling engine ; Great connectivity specs ; An above-average display quality ; Great price

Flimsy TV and remote control designs ; No smart remote functionality ; Weak smart TV platform ; Slight input lag with HDMI 2.0

For the Sharp LC-65UB30U 65 inch 4K TV, our bottom line is that this mode represents a superb starter model at a great price and delivers excellent quality where it most counts, in its visual specs, while also being very decent in terms of...

A Review of the Sharp LC-50UB30U 4K Ultra HD 60Hz Smart LED TV – LC-43UB30U, LC-55UB30U, LC-65UB30U,

The UB30U 4K TV line from Sharp is one of the most affordable that the manufacturer has produced this year and as such it doesn't have quite the same features as the somewhat pricier UE30 series or some other Sharp TVs. However, the UB30U does include...

Remarkably good contrast ; Local dimming included ; Superb price ; Excellent upscaling of HD content

No full-array LED backlighting ; Off-angle viewing sucks ; Brightness could use improvement

The Sharp LC-50UB30U is an excellent 4K ultra HD TV for its price but if you’re looking for an entry level model, you might be slightly better off with Vizio’s full-array LED screens in the P-Series and M-Series TVs. They cost the same.

Sharp UB30U TV

The Sharp UB30 4k LED TV has an impressive contrast ratio and handles itself well in a bright room. Unfortunately, the other aspects of the picture quality aren't as good. While the contrast ratio and black screen uniformity of the Sharp UB30U 4k LED...

Great native contrast ratio with deep blacks.

Very limited viewing angle. ; Poor gray screen uniformity. ; Very high input lag, even in game mode.

Sharp LC55UB30U Review: Good 4K TV for Under $1K

The Sharp LC55UB30U 55-inch Aquos 4K Ultra HD TV is going to appeal to many shoppers. It's a modestly priced 4K TV with a quality picture and intelligent smart-TV features. The sonic shortcomings won't dissuade most buyers, who can always add a $300...

Great contrast ; Crisp 4K picture ; Elegant smart-TV interface

Slow screen refresh for gaming ; Poor off-center viewing ; Weak audio

The Sharp LC55UB30U delivers solid 4K performance and an intuitive interface at a reasonable price.

Came right in at the budget we had to replace our 12 year old LG 65 720p. Controls and setup are easy the remote is nice and small and love all the extra ports. The wife fell in love with it once I got her DVR hooked up and cable going.

Way lighter then my last one Fantastic picture

Hopefully they ship this to the right address...

We'll see if it gets delivered to the right apartment address. Fortunately this is either a FedEx or UPS delivery so it will go to the leasing office if nobody's home, and they'll know it's addressed to the unit number seeing my name on it. I already...

Hasn't come yet... but it looks pretty in the picture.

I don't have the TV yet so i can't tell you.
