Olevia 255T FHD Review – 55-inch LCD HDTV

is a 55-inch behemoth, and one of the largest screens available in the market today. Sure there are some bigger models available, but most run into five figures. This one, however, offers close to five foot of screen real estate, and hit it he market...

Going strong after 6 years!

This TV is paired with Denon amplifier in a 5.1 environment, even though we have the best Comcast plan, we rarely watch live TV, we have the latest X1 set top box properly configured and the picture it is just awesome, the main driver of this TV is a...

Going strong after 6 years of every day use, beautiful picture, excellent size I still love it!

Heavy, really heavy, you have to set and forget, you cannot skip unconnected inputs, medium sound quality, it is not 4K!

Great TV

I am a very picky electronics user and so far this TV has me completely satisfied as far as looking great and fulfilling all of my expectations. I am not going to bother comparing it to far more expensive units, but this TV looks great. I am an avid...

Image quality is fantastic. Everything works great.

REALLY HEAVY. the delivery company sent one 170 pound guy to deliver it to my 3rd floor apartment. lol The remote has one input button, and you have to cycle through all inputs, even the ones with nothing connected. My old panasonic at least auto...

Very Pleased

I love this tv...there is no ghosting and no weird lighting in the corners like I have read from other reviews. As long as this tv works for the next decade or so, I will be very happy.

Beautiful picture, especially in HD;large viewing area angle; Energy Star compliant = on the 'Dark Room' setting I am using only 180W; very little reflection - the tv is a room with a lot of windows and there is very little glare; for the money that I...

Th sound is awful - the speakers are set on the back of the tv and it sounds like people are talking through a tin can. (If you don't have a home theater setup, I would look for a different tv); internal tuner will not pass 5.1 DD to a receiver;...

Great Price, Ok Picture

For a 55" LCD this is a phenomenal price.

Blacks and viewing angle aren't the best. At 9-10ft away I can see 'purple' blacks in the corners. Might be common on LCDs, but enough to be distracting for me in a dark room. Very dim vertical lines in the backlight. Noticable on solid background...

An Incredible Deal

Make sure when they call to confirm delivery, that they are going to have 2 people delivering for you. It is too heavy to have to carry around the house. Otherwise, I can't even tell you how much I love my new tv and am excited for a great tv weekend -...

For the money, this tv can't be beaten. The picture is great. I watch a lot of sports and don't even notice the 10ms. It was easy to set up. I live in the suburbs of Philadelphia and received the tv within 10 days of ordering it. I looked and...

The company called me to tell me that there would only be one person delivering the tv. I told them that I bought the tv because their delivery said they would bring it into any room of my house I wanted. So they went back and made arrangements for 2...

Phenomenal Value, Couldn't Ask for More!

I received this TV earlier today. The shipping company called me before and was there promptly. There was only one person in the truck, so I had to help him carry this box (which he said was 190 lbs) up the flight of stairs to my second-floor condo...

Great picture. I simply cannot in any way justify spending 2-3x as much for a "name-brand" product when this TV was this good out of the box.

Heavy...seriously...do not attempt to move this thing if you have back problems or you will be visiting the Chiropractor.

Great LCD

**Extreme value and quality** Me and my wife (MG) ; have been researching and watching online ads for months now. This Olevia LCD Tv picture is awesome and the multiple hook-up options are also a plus. Don't waste your money on more recognizable name...

The 40lb base and the quirky remote. Other than that love this tv!!!!!!!!!!!!
