VIZIO E400i-B2

For 2014, Vizio, in contrast (pun intended) to just about everyone else, offers even more local dimming TVs at more affordable prices than ever. The E series is the company's cheapest line, and at 39 inches and up, most of them have that extra. And it...

The models of the Vizio E series equipped with local dimming deliver superb picture quality for a very affordable price. The image evinces deep black levels with little to no blooming and great bright-room performance, and it provides for plenty of...

Color accuracy and video processing not quite as good as some competitors; poor sound quality; ho-hum styling; lackluster remote.

With picture quality that outdoes that of numerous more-expensive TVs, Vizio's E series likely represents the best value of 2014.

Vizio E400i-B2

The Vizio Ei-B2 series is a full-featured LED HDTV line with an appealing price point, but it suffers from some notable picture issues.

Inexpensive. Lots of online services and apps. Four HDMI ports.

Oversaturated colors by default. Relatively dim panel throws off effective contrast ratio. Poor shadow detail.

Power and Conclusion Under normal viewing conditions, the E550i consumes 103 watts. This is solidly middle-of-the-road for a 55-inch LED-lit HDTV, and doesn't stand out against other LCD screens. Besides an Energy Star-branded Standard picture mode...

Very Nice, But Too Small

If 40" Is For You, Then Buy One.

Awesome & Beautiful Display. The Picture Quality Is WOW ; Originally Bought It As A Computer Monitor For My High-End Lenovo Laptop And Also For My New Low-End HP Laptop And They Both Look Great On This 40" LED

Not A Con On The TV. But A Con On My Part. I Should Have Gotten The 50" Version For My Needs. But I Do Have Use For This 40". I Play Lot's Of Music With Winamp. So With The Licensed G-Force In Winamp And This 40" LED Makes One Killer Light Show

Firmware update needed, Faulty Apps.

Before I purchased my panasonic, I researched and went to several other store and found these VIZIOs as the low cost popular brand the store was pushing out, so I think, you consider doing research before you go one of these.

Price was good, I did not want to spend too much on a quick replacement for my old 60in Panasonic that cracked and could not be repaired. Unboxing, set up was easy and straight forward. Nice picture, and over all good

Apps did not work. I set up this TV with connected antenna, BluRay and Internet. TV worked fine with Antenna, and BluRay, but Web Apps. NOPE!!, It would just shut down when running any web app, Netflex, youtube, Hulu after about 10 to 15 mins. I...

Stuck on Stupid Smart TV

Great TV with horrible, non-functioning YAHOO Apps. No Internet browser and no TV Guide offered by YAHOO Apps. There's nothing smart about this otherwise good looking TV

No more Vizio for me...

At least this one works, but the previous one worked for only about an hour. Picture stopped working and had trouble getting sound. Went through multiple phone calls, which Vizio did replace the TV, but it took a couple of weeks to get. Sound quality...

I bought this refurbished tv and it shipped to me with a giant crack on the front screen! The stand was scratched as well. What makes it worse is that the box it was shipped in was fine, so they had to knowingly shipped a tv in that horrendous...
