D-Link Security Camera : D-Link Security Camera DCS-910

A couple of weeks ago I told you about some very neat (even secret) cameras and excellent software from Logitech, it was however rather expensive. Here a far simpler Ethernet solution that may well fit the job and even the pocket.

While D-Link do a wireless version I am looking here at the wired version of there security camera, the DCS-910. It is 11x7.5x4cm. The Ethernet cable and the A/C power go into the bottom of the unit but do not protrude beyond the casing. There is a...

D-Link DCS-910 640 x 480 MAX Resolution RJ45 Surveillance Camera

I should research why items are on sale before buying them.

DOES not even launch on 64-bit operating systems ; Included software has typos (Dlinkiew). Can't even manage to uninstall the thing as it crashes immediately

Works Great

I like the white color, it blends in better than gray, looks better both in shops and churchs. I wish this dlink camera had options like a dome, or bread box that was in the fifty bucks range. I use POe with these all the time with out issue. just set...

dlink needs to make camera not so tall ; so camera fits in outside housings again ; have to take camera out of its case/ or hax-saw ; the top and bottom of case off to fit in our bread box style camera housings ; You would think a manufacture would...

It's cheap and not worth your time. The other D-Link 900 series cameras don't get good reviews either. What was I thinking?

Inexpensive. Looks nice. Good picture quality. Mount is sturdy and convenient

Locks up a lot. No motion detection, except through their terrible D-ViewCam software which is the worst non-standard Windows application that I have ever run. The application runs only full screen in some weird alternate GUI. You cannot minimize it,...

Product Specifications

Equipped with its own web server, this network camera connects to a home network and streams live video over the Internet to any computer equipped with a web browser. Equipped with a high quality CMOS sensor and light sensitive lens, the camera works well even in low light conditions. It also includes a 4x digital zoom for close-ups. The camera includes a software package, D-ViewCam 2.0, which allows users to record video streams on to a computer hard drive or storage device.
