Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro

Good picture quality; impressive software package.

Difficult to adjust; microphone experiences some interference; color quality is flat.

This portable Webcam has solid picture quality and is a convenient partner for instant-messaging programs, but its sound and color quality leave room for improvement.

Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks

Although this camera's heavy notebook focus limits its versatility, it excels in nearly every area to provide superior performance. If you're looking for a webcam for your notebook, look no further than the QuickCam Pro.

Mounting and positioning is very easy on notebooks, Software is well-organized and easy to use, Excellent low light compensation, Face tracking does a good job of marking and following the face, Good variety of video effects

USB cable can be too short, Mounting clip needs to be pried open to use, Software includes link pushing more webcams, Video effects require a very powerful computer

Review: Logitech QuickCam Pro for Notebooks

Six years ago, in anticipation of my first son's birth, I decided to invest some money in a good camcorder. After carefully researching all of the available models, I finally settled on and purchased a Sony camcorder. One of the main attractions of...

Logitech Quick Cam Pro for Notebooks Review

Telecommunications have been evolving at a very fast pace since the invention of the telegraph. A huge shock was when Bell gave the little beeps that we call morse code, a voice. Now another shock has quietly arrived. Logitech and other manufactures...

Great image quality ; Great sound quality ; Easy to use software ; Easy to install ; Ability to use on both Mac and PC

Short cord (but perfect for use on a laptop)

The QuickCam Pro performed very well, providing a crisp picture and crisp sound. I was easily able to install and use the QuickCam Pro on both my PC and my MacBook Pro notebook computer. The only real letdowns of the entire product was the length of...

Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro Review and Prices

Logitech's QuickCam for Notebooks Pro is a tiny webcam with a big resolution. The unit itself is smaller than a Bic lighter and weighs only 2.5 ounces, making it a perfect webcam to toss into a laptop bag for video conferencing and chatting on the road.

Very light and compact, high resolution, multiple image effects

No physical pan-and-tilt tracking, some features require Vista or a high-end PC

Logitech QuickCam for Notebooks Pro

Last week we took a look at Logitechs top end webcam, the Ultra Vision. While it's quality is unsurpassed, the one we are taking a look at today is for people always on the go.

The first thing you will see after installation (and restart) is the Logitech QuickCam panel and also the QuickCapture screen. Once here, it prompted me if I wanted to enable the RightLight feature, which I quickly agreed to. One thing you may notice...
