KINAMAX WCM-6LNV 0.35MP Effective Pixels USB 2.0 WebCam

It doesn't autofocus but that should be expected for this price.

Pretty good video quality

The shipped driver cd is junk. I had to goto the manufacture website to get working drivers

Good Camera... Has Linux Support

Great camera for the price... There are higher quality ones out there, but its better than I expected for the price. The Kinamax website has Windows / Mac drivers for download, and it is supported by V4L on linux. The v4l driver module you will need is...

Clear Picture, Easy to focus, Works under Linux, Windows, and Mac

Clip could be a little stronger, IR LEDs are pretty weak -- night vision only works for 2-3 feet

It works on linux

This is the output of caminfo on Linux: Device node : /dev/video1 Name of device : "Generic Zc0305b" Minimum size : 176x144 Current size : 0x0 Maximum size : 640x480 Video inputs : 1 Input 0 Name : "ZC301-2" Type : Camera Audio : no Tuners : 0...

It works on Linux. I'm running Edubuntu 7.04 and the camera was detected by caminfo. It came up under /dev/video1. I installed motion (for motion capture) and it's working like a charm. No visible light coming from the led's

The infrared doesn't seem to come on until it's very dark. I covered the light sensor (on top of the camera) to get the led's to come on

COOL, A webcam with Headlights!

DIRT CHEAP, But really good! Came with the drivers on one of those Poker Chip size CD'S Does what it says it'll do.

All them clip-on Webcams could use a better type of clip, but this one works better than some.

Infrared Lights

Took me a sec to realize that you can't SEE infrared lighting but works nonetheless for the camera. The light is great compared to my onboard laptop webcam with no light (don't need to have a great amount of lighting to get a good picture). Works fine...

The infrared LEDs makes the camera perfect for low/no light situations ; Low Price

The Mic isn't as powerful as I'd like (you can pump up the quality via options but still not very good)

Neat camera

I was looking for a webcam that had built in infrared illumination for night vision, and I thought this would be perfect. I should have researched better - this is not the camera for that. The 6 built in LEDs are bright white, definately not IR....

Built in illumination, inexpensive, handy clip style base

Not the greatest camera, butadwquate
