Great product, xlnt price

 

Just got it two days ago. Works fine, nice image. Planning to mount it outdoors this weekend. Plays well with others on the local network.

(1) Pretty much bulletproof ; (2) Good optics ; (3) Easy setup

(1) Don't care for white trim ; (2) Optical zoom would have been sweet ; (3) No built-in IR lamp for nighttime monitoring

Works great!

 

When the camera moves it makes some noise, but again it's not a big deal to me. Another very nice function is you can shut off the L.E.D.'s so it looks like the camera is off. Decent image quality and ok sound, the pan/tilt doesn't react super fast but...

Hit and miss

 

Windows 7 users, just setup a shortcut to "Run as Administrator" and the software works fine. I use this both with the software that comes with it and ZoneMinder ( free Linux software) to get reliable motion capture alarm emails. IP Cam Viewer (Pro)...

Pretty easy to setup, it is wireless

The video recording is hit and miss, I often find 1 to 2 minute gaps which is not good if you really need it to record everything. It's stretching the truth to call this a PTZ camera, it Does Pan and Tilt but I haven't found any real Zoom feature....

Cost of camera. Ease of setup. GUI rich with options. Detailed and basic configuration options. Free video monitoring software. Overall design and implementation is great. Nice being able to monitor the camera from my IPAD 2 in bed over my network....

I had some issues trying to use the software with my Windows 7 PC, but I have a vista machine that runs the software just fine
