Excellent

Install was straightforward. Hook up the ethernet, change your ethernet IP addy temporarily to 192.168.0.X, load the cam in a browser via it's ip 192.168.0.30 and login. Set up wireless, monitoring, email, ftp and apply settings. Unplug ethernet and...

Quality is great. I had tried using a Microsoft LifeCam VX-3000 as a cheap-o webcam solution and was left very disappointed in it's quality. This camera *kills* the VX-3000 in quality. Check out the attached movie. It speaks for itself.

It can FTP jpgs and send email alerts with jpgs attached. That's it. No movie FTP. Then again, it's a cheap solution and I'm still happy. There's 3rd party software like ActiveCam that can do the movie capturing and storing for you.

Rebate Games

They "misfiled" my rebate, but located it after I contacted them (after 9 weeks). Then I didn't get it again after the promised 1-2 weeks, so I contacted them again. I should recieve it now according to them. I think that stinks and because of that...

Decent picture quality, good price after rebate, nice setup options

Somewhat difficult to set up for remote viewing

Wired is easy but wireless setup is a little picky

Overall I am very pleased with it. Very good picture quality and the colors pretty much spot on. Full 30fps to boot which can be adjusted in the settings if you want slow down the frame rate to match the network you have running and handy to save on...

Lots of features at a amazing price (rebate). Works well with Firefox via Java but unable to access some features unless I use IE6 which isn't big of a deal since some of those advanced features require ActiveX to run.

Wired network works perfectly. However, the wireless I had one heck of a time trying to get it work correctly with my hacked firmware on the Linksys Router (DD-WRT) V.24 final acting as a wireless access point. Turns out the camera is a little picky...

Good range & picture color. Adjustable focus

After the $30 rebate it is good value for this wireless ZVC7610W. I previously bought the ZVC7630 model which produced blue tinted picts but it died after 3 weeks, and I RMA it newegg who gave me full refund without much ado. This zvc7610W is cheaper...

Wireless range is amazing, steady connection stays with router 100 ft away in office building through 2 concrete walls and 2 dry walls! Picture at default is already good and you can config contrast for sharper pix and night street scene where there...

1. if only it could send short video clips to email address when motion triggered. 2. blue color makes it look toy-like.

Not for a novice

There are some buttons and lights on the device which I have no idea what they do. Overall once I got it working it is a good product. If they had a couple how to's on their website setting it up would be a lot easier. I guess I will call tech support...

Great Picture, lots of features and capabilities. Easy to add on several to build a surveillance system.

Bad Directions. If you don't have a high understanding of wireless networking this is very difficult to get working. I had to reset it several times before it found my wireless network. The first think you need to do is plug directly into a pc using a...

cam

I tried for a couple of hours and couldn't get through to their tech support. The number just wouldn't work.

Works really well for spying on our new dog

Just like others mentioned the instructions are pretty much none existent. I actually used people's comments for help

Takes some effort, but overall great cam!

I really am happy with my purchase of this cam and will likely buy another 1 or 2 to add to my surveillance capabilities. Instructions, grade F! Customer service, gradeA. Don't expect to get this working the way you expect out of the box. No info on how...

Better quality picture than I anticipated, strong design, good range, motion detection sensitivity setting, email alerts, expandable, customer service is very friendly and helpful, overall a great technology that really works

Impossible to set it up the way you want out of the box with the given instructions (must guess and toy with it or call customer service), no way to limit email alerts (motion on cam will send you an email every 2 seconds it detects movement), in low...

Nice wireless sescurity camera

Customer service was really good in my opinion when I called hem about programing, found that it was in my system not their software.

Awesome video and very easy to install. I use this for my daughters room who is 21 months old and works perfect verses using a baby monitor. Once done withthat application you can use it as a regular security cam or what ever else you decide to use it...

Instructions do not tell you to use it as a static IP addrress but if you don't you will have to reload everytime you loose power or reset your router. No audio but was not really worried about it
