have made a surprising number of gameplay-balancing tweaks and additions, as well as overhauling the career mode and throwing a far more compelling unlock system into the mix. For the price of a few beers (or one beer if you're at an airport), you get...

+ Awesome party-time arcade-y hoops with your friends., + Online play and unlockable legend players.

- Maddening teammate and opponent A.I., ? Why isn’t Kevin Durant more awesome in this game?

NBA Jam

Boomshakalaka! The classic baller is back.

Fantastic update to classic game ; Audio and video presentation is top notch, yet quaintly retro ; Overwhelming amount of content

No online multiplayer ; Baffling controller and interface quirks ; Single-player mode gets repetitive after a while

I agree, the game definitely suffers because of the strange shortcomings in the interface.

Nostalgia is a huge factor in the video game industry. Whether it was the Christmas where you got your first game console, or the game that kept you

NBA Jam for the Wii is exactly what you would want NBA Jam for the Wii to be just missing online play. The NBA Jam experience is alive and well on the Nintendo Wii and for those who may have never played a game of NBA Jam or those wanting to relive old...

NBA Jam

To those from my generation, NBA Jam is nothing short of a cultural landmark. When it was in the arcades, it ate up all of your quarters, when it came to consoles, it kept us up all night. Then, we grew up. We favored full-on simulations with complex...

Part of NBA Jam's legacy is built on its use of cheats, and the re-release is no different. There's your effect codes like big head mode, but key here is the ability to unlock a ton of hidden characters. Feeling political? You can unlock President...

Arcade classics are a difficult thing to reintroduce to the mass market; the challenge plays out like a balancing act of nostalgia and innovation. NBA Jam honors its source material with the utmost amount of efficiency without straying far from the...

NBA Jam is an excellent way to spend an evening or two, but at the end of the day, it's still just a prettier iteration of its former self that fails to add any mechanical polish to the formula. Additional single player modes are always welcome, but...

NBA Jam Review

NBA Jam on Wii is a solid, fun reboot that should please many fans. Considering its roots, the game aims to deliver the goods, but it doesn’t quite reach its full potential. The controls work fine, but the gameplay feels a bit hollow. As natural as...

NBA Jam Review

The truth is that the new NBA Jam is a lovely little throwback for those who were fans of the original game, and they will be the ones who will get the most out of it. That's not a bad thing, and you have to give EA props for adding depth to a game...

Old favorites, like the original NBA Jam announcer, are fun and nostalgic, New mini games and game modes add some variety and spice, The Wii mechanic is easy to master, but if you prefer, you can play with the classic controller

Sometimes the game moves too fast and glitches, Scoring can be frustratingly easy at times, and just flat frustrating at others, A great deal of the features take awhile to unlock
