Darwinia +

Viruses really are the bain of a PC user's life. Get one and you're guarenteed to spend hours deleting files, losing documents and inevitably either losing all your valuable files, resinstalling the Operating System or spending inordinant amounts of...

Darwinia+ (XBLA) Review

Save the Darwinians; save Darwinia! Jump into the cyber world created within the computer of Dr. Sepulveda and rid the Darwinia residents of a terrible computer virus ravaging the land before it's too late.

Multiwinia is the second game in this bundle pack, allowing for more adventures in single play, and a free form selection system instead of the traditional campaign in Darwinia. Players get a chance to take on new environments and enemies throughout...

Darwinia+

Darwinia+ is one virus that can't be treated with tamiflu. (Xbox 360)

Darwina uses its visuals to tap into that small patch of grey matter that each gamer has, the one marked retro. By doing this it opens itself up for anyone to approach it and feel comfortable. It's all very reminiscent to Tron and uses a pixelated...

Darwinia+

Darwinia+ is a crazy, addictive repackaging of two great puzzle real-time strategy games for Xbox Live Arcade.

Extremely addictive ; Mash-up puzzle/RTS/god game design still feels fresh and innovative ; Surreal visuals and sound ; Includes both the original Darwinia and its multiplayer sequel, Multiwinia

No significant additions or changes from the PC ; Multiwinia controls aren't quite as sharp on console as they are on PC ; Tutorial deals only with the obvious

Darwinia+ - Review

Progressive

I think Introversion have done a great job of adapting the controls to suit the gamepad, and the game is perfectly suited to the Xbox Live Arcade format. It is far more accessible than the PC version and offers a great pick-up-and-play experience once...

Darwinia+

Darwinia+ really has been eight years in the making. Even before Xbox Live Arcade was around, Introversion were hard at work, sometimes without pay, putting together the makings of the game that is now available on Microsoft's games download service.

As a package Darwinia+ is darned near perfect. It packages addictive original gameplay in a charmingly retro aesthetic, making me both wonder why the game took so long to make it to XBLA and glad that Introversion took the time to make it work the way...
