This laptop screen is very fragile. My son set his booksack on the top of the laptop while the screen was closed, and the LCD literally shattered. Luckily, a replacement screen is only about $80

I have owned numerous Toshiba laptops. I stick with them and pay a little extra because I have always had reliable service via Toshiba. Extra warranty extension always worth it. I'll install a SSD as soon as I can get one

Am also getting used to things happening with Win 7 that I didn't intend caused simply by doing little things inadvertently. For example, when I want to scroll down using the arrows on the right side of the screen and accidentally get the cursor too...

I bought it on sale at $499, and wish I had bought a couple more. I imagine it will be a long time before this laptop seems too old and slow!

I bought this camera for my daughter's 12th birthday. It looks pretty cool, the battery life is long enough, and it is easy to use. It does need a memory card. I would highly recommend it for being simple, well-built and producing very decent photos.
