Philips Streamium WACS7000

With its thick chunky styling, the Philips Streamium WACS7000 may look rather over the top, but if you want music streaming from every room (well, two...

Easy to set-up, good sound quality with excellent Wi-Fi range

The interface could be a bit tricky to use

Difficult interface aside, the Philips Streamium WACS7000 is a well-designed wireless music system -- for anyone with the dosh.

Philips Streamium WACS7000

Philips WACS7000 review

Multiroom is a real possibility for many due to this price and ease of use- it isn't jump up and down great on sound quality though

Stylish, easy to set up and simple to use ; good value ; clever functionality

Sonically, it’s more ‘okay’ than ‘oh wow!’

Makes multiroom audio a realistic possibility even for those on a budget

Philips Streamium WACS7000 review

With its thick chunky styling, the Philips Streamium WACS7000 may look rather over the top, but if you want music streaming from every room (well, two at any rate), this is a nicely worked (if not inexpensive) solution.

Difficult interface aside, the Philips Streamium WACS7000 is a well-designed wireless music system - for anyone with the dosh.

The second incarnation of Philips' wireless music system offers more options without ditching the cool looks and usability

A great example of the kind of hi-fi 21st century living demands. Wires? Pah

Philips - Streamium WACS7000

The Philips WACS7000 is part of the company's Streamium series and offers a solution for storing, managing and distributing digital audio around the home. Improvements to the latest model include a larger, 80GB hard drive, support ...

The Streamium WACS7000 is very stylish and generally performs well. It's an expensive purchase though, and lacks a few important features that would have given it the edge over impressive entries from rivals such as Sonos.

Philips WACS7000

You'll find an FM tuner, and you can access internet radio and stream music from a PC over a wired or wireless network. You can also rip and store CDs via the built-in player either direct to the hard drive or USB storage, which includes ID3 tag track...

Very stylish, rip and stream all your music without using a PC, decent built-in speakers

Can be awkward to configure, sub-par display, expensive
