You have to manually have to adjust this lense to work with the Canon camcorder.

High quality optics

High quality optics

This monocular the best in this price range. Its optics are crystal clear, unlike the barska. And i'm sure its better than the brunton. No soft edges. Maybe its because it was made for use as a telephoto lens. I still cant understand the price drop...

Product Specifications

The Kenko KDT-820 is an 8x20 monocular that has been converted for digital photography use. It is very simple to use with cameras such as the Nikon Coolpix 900 series. The telephoto lens comes with an adapter to mount the lens on any camera that has 28 mm filter thread. When mounted the telephoto capabilities of the lens are increased by 8 times. This allows for photographing of very distance subjects. The tele lens has a minimum focus distance of 30 cm (11.8 inches), therefore it can be used as a macro lens as well. The KDT-820 can also be used as a compact monocular when the size or weight of a pair of binoculars is not convenient.
