Not worth the price even if were $5

After about 4 hours of combined use (10 min. one day, 15 a month later, etc.) as soon as you turned it on no matter the setting it would just give a continous signal so in other words it was broke. it is a sealed unit so you cannot even atempt to fix...

If you never used one before you might think it's handy ; That's about it

You have to be within a 1/2 inch of the object to make it signal you. Battery falls out quite easy. feels cheap

LOVE IT!

I got this with my metal detector. it has been vary useful in finding the coin in the dirt pile. occasionally, if the ground is soft enough, I can pinpoint the coin by sticking the probe in the ground. Makes for a quick dig.
