Samsung BD-E6500 Blu-ray with Dual HDMI Inputs and WiFi Preview

While we don't think the Samsung BD-E6500 will be the next Audiophile Blu-ray player, it very well may be our next Blu-ray player. We just wish they are released a price.

While we don't think the Samsung BD-E6500 will be the next Audiophile Blu-ray player, it very well may be our next Blu-ray player. We're always looking for good solutions for game rooms, bedrooms, or friends and the BD-E6500 could well be our go-to...

Samsung BD-C6800

January 2010 was a month when 3D technologies finally made it to the home theater systems as a response to all of the positive feedback on 3D movies in the cinemas. The real debate is on whether these 3D technologies are actually worth the extra cost...

The Samsung BD-C6800 completes the 3D equation when paired with a 3DTV and it can also add wireless Internet functionality to any TV that lacks it. For about $280, the Samsung BD-C6800 is surprisingly budget-friendly and it has the necessary...

A good player if you are very patient

I have had experience with a newer Sony Blu-ray player, and will offer some comparisons. Interface: Front panel and controls are slick and easy to use. The remote is not slick looking, but the big buttons make it easy to use. The user interface is...

A very good and easy to use player if you want to watch or listen to mostly online and streamed content

Extremely sluggish response to inputs, switching between applications, and Blu-ray load times

fast? you're kidding, right?

The user who wrote "fast fast fast" must be working for Samsung ;) Seriously this player is the slowest piece of electronics I have ever used in my life. It takes forever to start a blu ray disc, literally LONG minutes since the moment you put a disc...

THE C6800 IS 99.9% IDENTICAL TO THE MORE COSTLY C-6900!

After extensive online and instore shopping I've come to some conclusions about the C6800 and the C6900 models and about CNET testing, as follows: The Players: These 2 units are almost the same size, almost look alike and have identical electronic...

Good looks, small size, high expert and user ratings, 3-D, easy connection to my new 58" Samsung 7000 series plasma TV, full set of 7.1 analog audio outputs (since my receiver doesn't have HDMI connections)

None yet - I'll provide a full review after I've used the player for at least a ew weeks

Faulty wireless-poor CS response

I have an identical unit at a different location that seems to work fine.

Easy setup, simple operation

Wireless connection didn't work. 1 Pandora song-at most, 5 minutes of Netflix it would drop out. After ~5 hours with Customer Service who always told me it was my router or IP, numerous resets, router option changes, I finally took the unit to my sons a

Average: slow response & low quality user manual

So far the performance is adequate, but I must see how the repair is handled before providing a complete report. Buyer beware!

Compact, many advertised features, and good price. Willing tech support people

Too long to set up: low quality user manual; tech support not knowledgeable. They look up info as you wait. Then give wrong answers ; Unit has faulty USB port. Samsung wants return at my expense & takes two weeks to repair or replace; poor policy

Fantastic value

This is a great product for first time users and as an upgrade for serious movie lovers. A fun toy that works great and will keep any tech geek or everyday user happy for a long time to come. It is also possible to get it for a great price. (under 200...
