Generally excellent video quality and a straightforward, if somewhat unglamorous, interface highlight the Panasonic HDC-HS900 , TM900 , and SD800 's capabilities.

Wonky white balance and lack of a built-in neutral density filter are the two biggest drawbacks of an otherwise very good series of prosumer camcorders.

Panasonic's trio of prosumer camcorders, the hard-disk-based HDC-HS900 and flash-based TM900 and SD800, deliver generally excellent video quality and provide the full set of manual controls and features advanced users want. But you have to be willing...

"Great Almost Pro Camera!"

I had been waiting a long time to find a camera with high visual fidelity without all of the consumer oriented junk that comes with most home cameras, and this is it. I will go from the most annoying problems/features, and move up from there.

+ 3 CMOS sensors an excellent job at color accuracy

broke in a few month

only after a few month gentle usage, it can not focus at all, and also keep giving me error message and force the unit to shut down, very disappointing. Sent the unit back to Panasonic, they said parts are covered but labor not. So I have no choice to...

A great camera, but how much does it weigh?

I've had this camera for a while now (mostly used for family events), but will start shooting web videos with it in a few weeks. It is worth noting if you are looking to buy a stedicam for it (like the flycam) pay no attention to the Panasonic website...

Good Camera

Good camera. The files that it stores are in .mkv, so if you plan on using it for shooting movies, you will need to get a convertor software of some kind.
