The Samsung is a great entry-level DVD camcorder with a feature set to please undemanding users. Experts will be less impressed, though, and blank DVDs are currently neither cheap, spacious nor anywhere near as quick as Mini DV.

it does exacly what is says on the tin

very light and fairly simple to use, image quality surprisingly good

battery life very short, the more powerfull battery is about the same size as the camera itself. Buttons are quite small and therefor suit a ladies fingers better

The cost of the disc, it didn't come with any and they can be quite costly with most only enabling half an hour recording at a time.

You didnt explained probably about the battery life.Dissapointed that some dvd players can not play.When zooming fully to see distance you are unable to use image stabiliser.
