Nokia 1208

Nokia 1208

The Nokia 1208 is an easy-to-use candybar handset, ideal for those after a handset equipped with basic phone functionality, or for those looking for a spare for use at the weekend.

It may be cheap, but the 1208 is a stylish piece of kit, sporting a textured matte-black casing with coloured accents on its rubberised keys. It measures in at a fairly compact 102 x 44.1 x 17.5mm too, so it should squeeze in to the tightest of jean...

Nokia 1208 Phone

The 1208 comes in a stylish classic bar handset which is mainly black in colour & enhanced with a coloured section in a choice of either black or red. The handset measures 102mm in height, 44.1mm in width & 17.5mm in depth which gives the mobile phone...

Very pleased - Great Little Phone

If your hearing is good and you do not need a phone that puts out a lot of volume, this is a very nice phone that works well. One reviewer received a phone that appeared to not be brand new but mine was new and complete.

Works well, light and small but shaped so that it is easy to hold ; Buttons laid out well with good countour/feel. People hear me well on or off speaker. Background noise (wind in car, background voices or music) is well controlled when using hands...

Speaker and earpiece are loud enough but a little more volume would be welcomed (My MotoQ is louder by comparison) ; Cannot switch to speaker until a few seconds after call is dialed (must wait for screen under right button to change from 'End Call' to...

Great deal for the price!

I purchased this phone because I was tired of dropping calls and my tilt was just too cumbersome to use. I gave my wife the tilt because the kids trashed hers.

I live in the bay area and the reception is not too great here. This phone out performs my att tilt by a wide margin. This is just a phone so dont' expect more

This phone does not have bluetooth

Below Expectations

It's a cheap, reliable phone, but I can't use this as my main phone because of all the deficiencies. As a backup? Yes. As an everyday phone? No.

Great battery life ; Good call quality ; No frills phone

Small phonebook (200 contacts) ; Low resolution screen, even for the price ; Rubber button covering + small buttons = lots of miskeying ; Bad software, lots of quirks that my barebones 5-year old Nokia did not have. (examples: 1. Call timer remains on...

Decent Backup

Newegg rocks with shipping and handling. Keep up the great work!

I needed a phone immediately, and didn't really want to extend my contract. This phone works for text and calling. Flashlight is a plus. Tap the up key 2x to light up, tap once more to turn light off. Looks solid built, relatively light in weight....

Battery life is ok. Surprised with the 7 hours talk time, not really getting it. more like 4-5. Not bad though. Could use some bluetooth but for the price i guess i can't complain. Besides i just use the speaker phone when driving, it's relatively loud...

Replace a 6126

My old flip phone, Nokia 6126, got a little spastic with the memory functions, would not record missed calls etc., but closed it was at least a quarter inch shorter. The flip phone is at least an eighth inch wider and a sixteenth inch thicker. Those...

The phone was compaitively cheap. It transmits and recieves clearly. Battery life seems good ; It works

Like others have said the keyboard and display are small. I would prefer a flipPhone
