"A good sounding but mediocre phone beset with problems."

Samsung should have dispensed with some of the nonsense features. Given the circumstances above, I doubt that most of these silly enhancements even work. Samsung, and Verizon, ought to have given their customers a durable basic phone. They seem to want...

The voice quality and signal strength appear to be excellent, the keypad is easy to use and the fonts are not all difficult to read. But this might be faint praise.

It takes up to 5 seconds for the screen and background to appear after one has opened the flip. The calender icon goes away only after one removes the battery. The alarm does not work and the keypad backlight functions only occasionally. Garbage!

I regret my choice of phone

Acceptable call quality

My screen broke in my front pocket without a noticeable impact and the external keys never stay locked which kills the battery very quickly if it goes unnoticed.
