I only care about great tasting classic coffee, not the stuff loaded with cream, sugar, caramel, cinnamon, and all that other crap. The Krups does a good job at pulling the deep earthy flavors from the bean without going so far to pull the nasty tannins.

Does not automatically keep coffee warm up to 2 hrs. as many others. That feature is only available in the glass carrafe. So you need to drink coffee immediately or reheat in microwave. We bought another coffeemaker because of that.
