Unbeatable Performance for the Price Tag it offers!

Design: The satellites are designed decently, but its the woofer that catches my eye - I used to keep the sub-woofer out of sight for my earlier sets, but I find it hard to do the same for this one! The air-outlet is really well contoured, which is...

1. Compact Satellites, Well Designed Woofer Unit ; 2. The mids, Highs and Lows are really well reproduced. Bass in particular doesn't jarr and sounds clean and strong, which is a really a job well done by the manufacturers ; 3. Excellent for listening...

1. The design is simple and ordinary (the woofer unit is good looking though) and its a 50-50 as some might like and equally dislike the design ; 2. Decently Loud, but don't expect anything extreme ; 3. No controls for balance, bass, treble, although...

Great Sound!

Overall I'm very impressed with this system! The sound is full and rich. You can't go wrong with this unit!

Full spectrum sound! The Bass is very good! Also the mids and highs are also very well produced

There is no knob to control the amount of bass/treble. Also the power switch is on the back of the subwoofer

Great speakers for the price.

I got these speakers on Black Friday, so for $20 brand new can't go wrong!

Very clean highs and lows for the price

Doesn't have too much range in term of loudness, but great for my classroom

Decent $33 2.1 speaker

The bass is not as "powerful" as described -Sometimes tone knob is useful -No front-mounted knobs for power -Clear sound though it can't produce high pitch sound -Like it for everyday use

Altec Lansing VS2621 2.1 Channel Speaker System

These are really great speakers, especially for the money. My son uses them with his gaming monitor and I with my iMac. The order came on time as promised.

a steal for the money

Power switch on the woofer, which sucks, and the speaker covers are soft cloth, which is ludicrous. The woofer speaker cone isn't protected at all, can you believe it. Also there's a silly "tone" knob on one of the speakers that does essentially...

Nice Speakers!

It is a nice audio set for my PC. I enjoy the volume and the bass. A good buy for the price.

Nice speakers!

You can't beat theses speakers for the money. Good base and high range sound for a small price. The sub woofer can hide behind your screen with the small speakers out front and enjoy the sound!

Altec Lansing VS2621 2.1 Channel Speakers: Unusable due to loud HUM

A common theme in many negative reviews here is the fragility of this speaker system. Or to sum up: The sound is great until something (a speaker, a subwoofer, a connection, etc) craps out -- and this can happen anytime from right out of the box to...
