OK Induction Cooktop

Boiled a quart of water in about 5 minutes, the power is there but my main complaint is the noise, theres a very high pitched noise coming from it, and sometimes I hear a klank or a pling noise coming from it while it is heating.

Duxtop 1800-Watt Portable Induction Cooktop

We purchased this item a month or so ago because our gas range cooks too hot for our waterless cookware. My husband likes this unit because it is very quick to boil water and soups, etc. I'm not so enamored with it. This unit cycles on and off in the...

Very, Very wonderful

I have been using a Nuvave for some time. This is much better in style and efficiency. It is really quite a bit much quieter compared to the Nuwave. The difference between 1500 watts and 1800 watts is unbelievable. definitely a must buy!!

I love my induction burner

I have lived in a studio for several years that has no range or oven so I have gone through several portable burners that have worn out fast. This time I really researched the purchase of a new one because I wanted it to look nice, be efficient, and...

Worst tested so far

The lowest setting still boils water easily. For that reason alone it is a complete disappointment, add that much more efficient and flexible programable units can be had for 2/3 the price and I would strongly encourage shoppers to look elsewhere. That...

It's all in the quality of the pan

This is my second induction unit and I am very pleased with how well it works. My first was a Tatung brand that works well, but I wanted one with higher output. The Duxtop is noticeably quicker at heating, but is a little hotter on the low range...

great for cast iron and boiling water

I'll take off one star for the plastic case, loud beep (every button press and when you remove pan), and loud fan (I'm hard of hearing and it still bothers me). Also, it's hard to tell from the photo, but this unit stands nearly 3" off the counter with...

It's great

I use it at my coffee shop every day to make omelets and it really gets the job done. I use it with a stainless steel pan so it take seconds to heat up. Love it
