Great performance and design

Pricey

Gateway's model is pricey relative to some others, but offers great speed and a well-thought-out design.

Gateway FX510XL

Gateway's first gaming desktop offers a cornucopia of high-end parts and luxury peripherals at a price other systems can't match.

Everything but the kitchen sink. Processor comes unlocked (for overclocking). 21-inch widescreen LCD monitor included in price. 1TB of drive space. 2GB of system memory.

Overclocking procedure is not user-friendly. Requires ugly dongle for CrossFire connectivity. Still needs ugly Microsoft MCE IR receiver.
