HP Omen X

With a stand-out build and high-end components, the HP Omen X gaming desktop won't disappoint on performance or features, as long as you like its appearance enough to sacrifice the extra desk space and cash.

One-of-a-kind design. Fast gaming performance. Expandable hot-swappable storage through easily accessible exterior bays. Tool-less interior access. Plenty of I/O ports.

Requires a lot of space. Expensive for the components you get.

HP doesn't set out to provide a standard gaming desktop experience with the Omen X, preferring to offer some specific advantages rather than just another fast performer. You are getting VR-capable power thanks to the processor and the GTX 1080, and...

HP Omen X review: HP's PC gaming flagship turns PC gaming on its side

The cube-like design of the Omen X is funky, but also brilliant, and much more forward-thinking than you'd expect from HP.

The HP Omen X is a powerful gaming desktop with a modern, minimalist design, and is angled for easy access to ports and components. DIY types can buy the just case and build it themselves.

The system is big, heavy and expensive. Lighting effects are limited compared to some other gaming desktops.

The HP Omen X builds a powerful gaming desktop with smart ergonomics into a bold but expensive statement piece.

HP Omen X 900-085na

Big brands like HP aren't known for their gaming systems, which makes it even more absurd that HP has unleashed its eye-catching Omen X.

The Omen X attracts a lot of attention with its cubed design, angled structure and lighting. The modular interior sounds good, too, with separated components and an easier angle of entry.

HP Omen X

Outlandish gaming systems usually come from boutique manufacturers rather than global brands like HP, so I was surprised when the Omen X turned up. And then my surprise turned to shock when I heaved this beast from its box.

HP Omen X Desktop review

HP's latest gaming desktop is big and badass to a fault

Unique and minimalistic styling ; Easily accessible ; Immense upgradability

Larger than life presence ; Costs a pretty penny and then some

The HP Omen X Desktop rides on its side and the edge of absurdity. Too big and conceivably expensive for its own good, this is an extreme PC for gamers who revel in excess. HP wanted to go big and loud with its most hardcore gaming PC yet. However,...

HP Omen X review

The HP Omen X is a bold statement when it comes to desktop computing. It is big, it is heavy and it doesn't even sit upright. And it is also a powerful compute device - the model I received from HP came with an Intel Core i7-6700K @ 4GHz, two NVIDIA...

This is indeed a very enjoyable machine. If you are a gamer or just enjoy working with no interruptions, then this is what you are looking for. Never mind the price tag, which is accordingly big and heavy. But at the end I feel sad to have to pack it...

Does this include the mobo

I understand it's a bare bone chassis I just see that it has a io shield and some USB ports in the back, does it come with those or not?

Bare Chassis

It basically says it there. I see no reason for the low scores on it. The chassis itself looks pretty promising while providing easy and smooth flow of air to maintain cool temperature on the components. Works great with those into overclocking.
