Unit works well unlike the PS 9700 which I received earlier.

Unit works fine for digitizing slides. Haven't tried negatives yet. Unlike two PS 9700's I received which both failed immediately when I tried to use them.

optimal purchase

Equipment for easy handling and rapid transfer of images. 1000 photos already transferred, without any problem. Everything becomes easier when we put the photos on the computer, and I can watch on TV, or projector without worrying about the noises and...

ION OMNI SCAN Stand-Alone Image and Slide Scanner

I bought this scanner because of all the excellent reviews. The one I ordered and recieved never worked for me. I found another scanner at Shopko for less than half the price that did a great job. I do not recommend this slide scanner at all.

Wow, this really works good !!!

I had 1000+ family slides dating back 50 years. Going to a photo shop to convert slides to digital images would have cost over $300. If you have the time & patience, this is the way to go. Of course, after you are all done, you probably need to give it...

This little device works just as promised- just insert a slide, look at the image on the screen to determine if you would like to keep it, then press the button and the image is stored digitally either on a memory card or directly to your computer. Not...

Works well.

The ION OMNI SCAN works well. I wish the cheap plastic film holders were more substantial, but for mounted slides, it is very easy and quick to use. I've finally gotten my ancient and fading Kodachrome slides digitized so that they don't deteriorate...

Waiting for such a device.

I had 10 carousels of 140 slides and no way to convert them so that my computer could accept them. The scanner which should have, couldn't. Now with this Ion Omni Scan, I'm going through my whole collection. The Ion's internal memory only held 8...

Exactly as advertised

Works exactly as advertised. Perfect for converting slides and film strips. Right out of the box, no problem getting set up and scanning within 15 minutes. Learning curve not that steep. No problem inserting and pulling single slides from the slot -- I...
